  • GaryTurbo reply This is the first Star Wars movie to be a Mary Sue movie
  • Fighting_Zenith reply I personally thought that this wasn't bad, but find myself going back to Episode I and the original trilogy. However, I do look forward to The Last Jedi. Those last two paragraphs in your review hit the nail on the head. Lots of non-Nintendo games are too focused on story and world building to the point where the game play and even the quality suffers. Plus, I'm tired of people who bitch about CGI just because its overuse. My problem with James Cameron's Avatar was the fact that it was as unoriginal as Mark Haynes' Super Mario Bros Z on Newgrounds, but boring and not well executed in the content department.
  • LeftHeadGrave reply Didn't like this movie... It's "Makes it Easy" the movie. They need this? There it is! They need that? There it is! Don't want to deal with a traitor storm trooper possibly being a spy or having to deal with major guilt for his actions? Comedy relief! Here's a legendary light saber! Here's the Millenium Falcon! Here's the ONE PERSON in a space station the size of a PLANET you were looking for! There is no effort given. It's not just that Rey is a Mary Sue, it's that the whole movie doesn't work for anything. ...Also Kylo Ren is a cheap cut rate version of Darth Revan but that's a personal beef. ...As is how Rogue One is Friggin' Bardok: Father of Goku.
  • slyofwar reply meh can't say I care that much for films that feel like repeats but with new troupes I'm honestly not that hyped for part 8 and still haven't seen Rouge one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
