  • [ – ] nodetact reply @theoldsparrow Looks like I have need to refer you once again! Only this time, I KNOW its about snack crates! I wonder though if Joel both financially and willingly is subscribed to an actual global transit route of foods (Vidizens like @StefanJenkins and @Rawman would envy you if they had a way of getting the boxed condiments, refreshments and junk food just as easily too) because Sparrow seems to be either limited or in loyal participation to the monthly Tokyo Crates as of late. Then again, that may be a better bundle deal for him (albeit he tips videos very often yet wisely distributes these) as someone who only appears higher class due in because of their monetary smarts. I'll have to make my own good decisions on what I spend my money on, and determine that on my own. I'm not saying that an adventurously multicultural goodies chest per four weeks isn't the way to go even this early on in my life... there's gotta be some way I can broaden my understanding of the huge world around ...moreme that I can also act like it was already "filling me up"! :) Or, failing that, you guys can just mail me in the scraps - it'd make a good first test for Vidizen gift reception righteously well. Never had I thought @AmandaFood was to be dismissed by life's pleasures, than to be obsolete in nutritional hobbyist terms!
    • theoldsparrow parent reply Thanks for pointing me here. :D
    • MrJoelDee parent reply I actually just this past week decided to cancel my subscription, at least for now, to Snack Crate. Basically, even though it's from a different part of the world, it almost the same thing each month. Chocolate covered biscuits or wafers of some type etc., that basically every country has, just under a different name. The only thing that's really different with each box is the drink. It's all cool, don't get me wrong, but I can't justify paying $20 a month for basically the kind of snacks I can get pretty much anywhere. That hard earned money can go to much better use. I do have one more Crate I've got to get around to reviewing, but that will be the last one, for now.
  • [ – ] theoldsparrow reply I do a Tokyo Treat subscription which the premium box is only $35. There are a good amount of snacks, 24 snacks in all, and it includes a drink and a do it yourself snack which is kind of fun to make. Also shipping is included. It's a very good bang for the buck. The break down for the $15 box is 8 full sized snacks and 5 smaller snacks with no drink. For the $25 box is 19 snacks without a drink. It is Japanese snacks only though so it does limit in comparison to a subscription that will give you snacks from all over the world. Also It comes straight from Japan so it takes longer to get here. Hope you're staying safe with the Irma tropical storm.
    • MrJoelDee parent reply Thanks man. I am. Lot of trees and power lines down outside and around my area, but I'm safe. πŸ˜€
  • [ – ] Roolooth reply All those snacks and the Irn Bru drink are very familiar to me as I’m in the UK. It looks like you enjoyed everything bar the liquorice - by the way the liquorice from the Sherbet Fountain should be hollow down the centre and you use it like a drinking straw to suck up that powder which is what we call Sherbet, it’s a sweet fizzy powder. If you want you can also add the sherbet to a glass of water and watch it fizz up and you then have a sweet sparkling drink. I’m certain that Coke and Pepsi outsell Irn Bru in the UK as a whole but in Scotland where it’s very popular it would be the leading brand.
    • MrJoelDee parent reply Thanks for the tip man. Lol, I tried to read any instructions on the sherbet but the print was so small, I couldn't read it. I'll know if I get anymore in the future. I did like everything else very much, especially the Irn Bru. Wish we had that here in the U.S.
  • [ – ] Y2JayDoesAsia reply You might like some of the content made by my friend @Tyger , he does MRE videos sometimes, https://vid.me/Rnih
  • [ – ] Y2JayDoesAsia reply This is a lot like a November Fox video, lol
    • MrJoelDee parent reply Lol. That IRN BRU soda sorta tasted like an orange flavored beer. It was really good. Wish I could get more of those.
  • [ – ] November_Fox reply Do the prices you mentioned include shipping?
