Does the manga of Kindred Spirits on the Roof live up to the game? Yes and no. Ike will explain.
I'll also explain here too if you're reading. Spoilers for what I say in the video though.
Side A by Hachi Ito is great. It's almost on the level of the CD dramas where it's a fantastic after addition to the story of the VN. It does get to the point at the end where they wanted to shove every other couple from the game in. Though I don't mind if as much because it's more or less a nudge at the reader. That and it does somewhat have context to it.
Side B does the same thing, but it doesn't feel the same as Side A. The way it was going, everything did feel rushed.
I can't believe Side B had loli sensei (that's legit how I've called her throughout the entire game) and not use her properly. How dare they.
What is Kindred Spirits on the Roof (Manga)?
-low-key, because I'm lazy. I'll write the summary from the back-
Mako and Shiori are childhood best friends trying to repair a rift in their friendship... or possibly turn it into something more. Meanwhile, fellow student Hase Chiharu joins the Quiz Club to become closer to Natsuki and Rika, a power couple she adores. Tokino, another club member, can't take her eyes off their beautiful upper classmates either, and as Chiharu and Tokino observe the couple together, their own sweet relationship begins!
By the way, I like how the summary of Side B over powers Side A lol.
