  • [ – ] MrATAndreiThomas reply Dude to tell the truth, I am personally not interested of Big YouTube Channels Because most of them shown their egotistical side and don't give two cents about the small content creators. If I was a big channel I would stay humble and care for the small content creators that made me possible from the ground up by giving them some respect and a chance for them to be on the spot. I don't make videos for fame and popularity, I make videos, because I enjoy what I love doing, I don't care how much video views I get on my videos, and I certainly don't care if I get the gold feature star on my vidme channel or not. But if my channel grows even more bigger in the future. I will not end up like those Big Egotistical bastards that they are the most high and mighty, how matter what happens on this website, I will stay humble and help out the small content creators and that is a promise. Great video bro, peace.
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply I don't think most big Yters are egoistic, i think that the same and popularity brought out their real self. Egoistic people were egoistic before they got popular :) thanks for sharing what you think. I like that you are very passionate
      • Xexor parent reply ^ True, these words. Money and fame: the two great amplifiers of one's personality. I'm happy vidizens seem so supportive here, and that creators are willing to help each other out. This is a *much* better community.
      • Acesahn parent reply "I dont think most big Yters are egoistic" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Good one.
      • top10archives parent reply Part of the problem is those attitudes sell. They sell a lot and, yes, many people are quite fine with taking on a persona or shifting their personality for the sake of views. Sadly, the "we make content because we love doing so" is a terrible business model for the "get rich quick" type. On the other hand, there's no other reward to it. Money may not flow in, but we'd rather our content be loved for what it is and our hard work be recognized.
      • MrATAndreiThomas parent reply Thanks Bro and you welcome
    • [ – ] PurpleHelmet1978 parent reply Fantastic comment mate, fully agree. I'll never get "big" - not sure I'd want to - but if I did I'd try and tow as many smaller creators behind me as I could.
    • [ – ] ChadZimmerman parent reply Big channels aren't made possible by small creators, they're made what they are by viewers. Whether those viewers make content or not is irrelevant. And most big Youtubers are very thankful for their viewers. The ones that aren't were that way to begin, or pretended to care just to grow and now their colors are showing. I have almost 8k YT subs and I know every name of my regulars. I thank them constantly, and even stay up all hours of the night helping and answering questions for them. Frankly most big YTers will need this platform if YouTube won't care more for their creators than their advertisers because like H3, they're gonna leave for a format that does tips and paid subscriptions (sound familiar?)
      • BrianAiya parent reply Yes, Not all BIG creators are arrogant money driven people. I think, being long time in the internet we can sense who are doing this for the views and money and who really appreciate their fans. It's GREAT that you are close with your subscribers :) that's the best thing you can do! they are lucky to have you ^^
      • [ – ] BrittanySmokes parent reply They can probably pull in a bunch of revenue from their Patreons. I'm wondering if they'll actually care about the community and well being of YouTube, or just take this opportunity to turn YouTube into a group of "elite" creators.
        • [ – ] ChadZimmerman parent reply You'd be surprised, not all creators can make up for lost revenue with Patreon. Phil can because he's got very passionate devoted fans, but there's plenty of creators his size they barely pull in a thousand a month from Patreon because their not engaging their audience enough to make them want to support. I have a mentor who has maybe 2k subs and makes a full time living from affiliates, merch and patreon/tips. You don't have to be big to be supported, but just being big doesn't mean you are either. H3 is a prime example of this.
      • [ – ] MrATAndreiThomas parent reply Like I said bro I'm not interested in big content creators because of their egotistical side.
    • [ – ] GrayRPG parent reply Egg-Xactly
    • [ – ] HarryJohnson parent reply Well, TheAmazingAthiest (TJ Kirk) gives shoutouts to upcoming growing youtubers for support, so not all of them
  • [ – ] danielamann reply Aiya I don't know how you do it...Your jokes are hilarious and you are so entertaining =D How did you as one guy make me feel like I was in a busy restaurant??? You're a natural entertainer, but with a great message behind the comedy and entertainment as well. I really liked this video. I agree, everyone should understand what it is like to work a service job because it teaches you a lot about what it is like to interact with other people on a regular basis and it can be a lot more difficult than you might think. It changes your perspective! Proud to be a hipster nerd bro!!!!
    • BrianAiya parent reply My vids are just like yours, entertaining with a message ;) thanks man for watching. Yes, any kind of service job, waiter, calling center, retail are good experience to have.
  • [ – ] sarah reply LOL omg the part with the waiter had me dying. and that pepsi!
  • [ – ] Rawman reply Hahaha "this week on vidme cop" hahah!!! I'm next remember! "Despite the size of your pe-talent" hahah!! Damn that vine joke!!! Buuurrrnnn!! Man you killed it with this too funny but also great discussion points. If they come. Yay! If not. Oh well. (Burnt through 25% of my monthly data to watch this)
    • BrianAiya parent reply The vine comedy always felt cringy and trying to hard for me. Can't wait to see you in Vidme Cop soon xD it better not be for a bad reason lol. burnt only 25%? bruh, it should be atleast 90%, my vids are high quality xD Thanks for watching as always
  • [ – ] MFKraven reply Vidme the new underdog, woo! Lets help build this shit.
  • [ – ] namie reply Your videos are so enjoyable and funny!
  • [ – ] theoldsparrow reply It will get there. I'm just enjoying the atmosphere as it is now while I can. Like you said it seems we got lucky that all the nice people from youtube migrated. I just hope it stays that way as long as possible.
    • BrianAiya parent reply Yes! all of us here are the cornerstone of vidme now. We create the norm now. I hope we can maintain this atmosphere. Also thanks for subscribing and tipping :) I appreciate it
  • [ – ] BobbyTheSheep reply Nobody wants to convince them to come anyway! We are happy to have our own vid.me favorites without the need for 'big YouTubers' to come in!
  • [ – ] redRomina reply I gotta tell you man... the thumbnail for this video got me HOOKED. 💯💯💯💯
  • [ – ] MariaTheGerman reply Aiya you crack me up my friend! It's been a while since we've seen one of your beautiful creations!! Keep them coming because look at the love you're getting!!! 💖
    • BrianAiya parent reply Danke Maria <3 I could say the same for you, it's been a while since we saw your smile, i hope you upload soon so that people can share the love with you too. Thanks for watching Maria, i know you are busy.
  • [ – ] redRomina reply I have ADD. Officially diagnosed. Watching your videos is like seeing my brain be visualized.
    • BrianAiya parent reply I haven't been diagnosed but i also believe i have ADD xD Thanks for watching Romina :) Glad you enjoyed it
  • [ – ] GrayRPG reply Sheesh, I'm glad I gave Vidme a try because now I love being part of it lol, also I think we shouldn't convince big Youtubers to come to Vidme... We should be the new future big creators of this website. If they come over to this platform its like Youtube all over again and the small creators like myself, will have to be buried beneath. Most of the people here came to this new social platform to have a fresh new start, To actually have a chance. Adding big youtubers to the mix will just mess everything up and the community wouldn't be like how it is now😕
    • BrianAiya parent reply welcome to the vidme community bro. Don't be scared if BIG youtubers come to Vidme. Maybe in the 1st days they will be always in trending, but after that they will lose steam. It's good if they come because they will being their followers here, and many of their followers might also be new creators. But i understand what you mean. The vidme community have some trust issues with Big Creators. Until now, only AskaGangsta is the big YTer who made a good impression.
  • [ – ] MartyReactions reply Finally someone acknowledges the problems with the internet video community. Vidme is the same as YouTube in terms of the audience and the content. I still see click bait on this site
    • BrianAiya parent reply yes, same audience but hopefully we take the community rules seriously and not just sit there. Yup, there are click bait, but if vidme enforce their rules and be consistent on it, the community will realize the in vidme we play a different kind of game
  • [ – ] duffy reply great video dude. want to see more of that little critter.
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply Thanks for watching duffy! Between you and me, i had him for 2 years, i need to show him more in my videos because dwarf hamsters live for 2 years so i will show him more in my vids to create more memories :P #vidmepetchallenge
  • HeroicVillain reply Hey, man. I respect people. I totally didn't just wake up @WebNoob in the middle of the night, cause respect. It's not like I go around hitting on random girls and blurting out 3rd grader naughty words and leaving long rants about conspiracies no one has ever heard of. I'm a really nice guy! I'm NICE!!!! NICE, YOU HEAR ME!!!!! ANSWER ME!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyDAeZYFOGk Plus, my probation officer says he'll sign off on me if I can get through 6 more weeks without driving without pants. Would a probation officer do that for someone who's not a nice guy? I think NOT!
  • [ – ] tonygreene113 reply We don't need some of those malignant narcissistic assholes here on the vidme bus.
    • BrianAiya parent reply yes. Unfortunately it's not up to decide who comes here. Anyone and everyone are welcome, as long as we don't encourage that kind of behavior.
  • [ – ] Y2JayDoesAsia reply Proud to be a nerd and hipster! thanks for tagging me in the description
    • BrianAiya parent reply YEA! people may look down on us, but the hipsters and nerds are the ones who will gain respect in the future. No problem dude. Thanks for your support. Your support deserve to be acknowledged.
  • [ – ] Zimbo_Gamer reply Fish in a pond my friend. Fish in a pond.
  • [ – ] RAGEfit reply UR FILIPINO AF. same
  • [ – ] MarzieMalfoy reply Awwww! The gerbil!!! (Gerbil or hamster?) "Have faith on the seed." Yes! Anything new is going to have doubts in people but we have to let them see for themselves. If they see the potential over time, great! And I love being a nerd! :)
  • [ – ] tianaisold reply the second big creators switch to a site like this, it'll all go downhill. i love that this gives us a chance to grow on our own without being overshadowed by people who are going to have a following no matter what content they put out or where. overall i loved your thoughts (: btw, i found you from twitter! how funny is that?
    • BrianAiya parent reply True! I understand that these big creators used to be small like us and they worked for their success, but everyone in Vidme are starting from scratch with whatever equipment and ideas they have, if the big creators come to vidme, they will put the standards high again and the small creators will feel that their content is bad. Yeaa! i'm active in twitter so see you there too
  • [ – ] Nyranna reply This is one of the only times that jump cuts were actually used in a way that made the video funnier, props to you man!
  • [ – ] Dleon247 reply Yt sucks
  • [ – ] LaurenVideon reply This may be a small thing to notice, but I love your literal version of a side note (as in, turning head to the side and using a different camera angle). It makes things more interesting.
  • [ – ] GoMGTOW reply VIDME CAN SELL OUT LIKE YOU TUBE DID AT ANYTIME.... I wouldn't put all your eggs in the Vidme basket! A big company like Google can swallow up Vidme over night! Vidme has yet to prove itself in my book as a dedicated platform for content creators. All it takes is the right amount of money and Vidme will go the way of being incorporated into being part of You Tubes content and the tips and sub's will come to a screeching halt!
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply yup it's true. That could happen with vidme. But it would be foolish if they haven't learn from YT's mistake. Yes. Google is HUGE. People her don't expect Vidme to surpass Youtube but just be a strong competitor
      • GoMGTOW parent reply Vidme is a business and subject to the all mighty dollar... I would just play it smart and have a back up plan on another platform.
  • [ – ] Dreyson reply "Hey what's up guys it's scarce here" 😂 I'm dead but good video man
  • [ – ] BLEHStudios reply whatever! this is for new creator isnt it?
  • [ – ] iJimUK reply Aiya very well said dude, you nailed this, even the Vine bit. Extra awesome and so funny, gonna watch it again. Thanks for pointing out that "We are the nerds, the hipsters who were here on Vidme before bit was cool". Because we are and hey, Vidme is where the cool creators hang out
  • [ – ] SirNigelCogs reply Very interesting thoughts. I try to share Vidme in subtle ways. When I post a new video on Vidme I post the link on my Twitter so when people go to the link because they're interested in it they see the new platform. And when I find funny and interesting videos on Vidme I send the links to my friends so they can enjoy the videos and see there's a new video platform.
    • BrianAiya parent reply Yeaa Sir! you are doing good work! Vidme is popular in Reddit, but many use for one off memes for reddit. Glad that you are spreading the good news :)
  • [ – ] IrrelevantHero reply Balls? Excuse me Aiya. Are you ASSUMING my gender!? *TRIGGERED* You nailed it with that Pepsi commercial joke! hahah! You're always so damn ON IT with your comedy, there's a reason you've hit 400! And congrats on that as well!
    • BrianAiya parent reply ah damn it! xD Exposed! Pepsi supports all genders, so i had to continue Kendall Jenner's work and not let the commercial just "Live for now" it must live forever! Thanks for watching!
  • [ – ] jrswab reply well said man! We keep this community going and uploading and we'll have a big site before we know it!
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply Yes, for now we have more creators than viewers in Vidme, but it's good to have more creators, so when the BIG wave of viewers find Vidme, there will be plenty of content here. Also thanks for sharing this in twitter
  • [ – ] Baronzad reply unexpected memes are the best memes.
  • [ – ] JaitheRai reply I agree that people should stop asking the big YouTubers to come to vid.me. The reality is if they want switch platforms they will. I have seen some big YouTuber's channels here, but most only have about 3 or 4 videos posted. Vid.me will grow whether it's with the big YouTubers or not. It just takes time. Great video :D
    • BrianAiya parent reply Yes, YT is around for more than a decade, so we can't expect to see result in 1 year of vidme. Yea, the Big Yters are not doing anything wrong, they are already successful, they don't need vidme. But Creators with less than 10K who feel discouraged are good YT channel size to come here and feel the change. Now in Vidme, like 200 upvotes is a Big number, but if these big Yters come and get 500 upvotes, they will still feel it's not worth it. Thanks for watching dude
  • [ – ] JonThomas reply You are so right about people needing to have jobs that build patience, and backbone. If you can take rude people in stride, you are already winning the game of life. I love your vids, and your style, and your multiple personality! Pepsi time!!!
    • BrianAiya parent reply Yup, many people give up to early today. Sometimes you have to learn how to love a job, and it takes a lot of time. Thank you! :) I will try to upload another video soon!
  • [ – ] JamieLeigh reply I am so offended habib. I am a massive YouTuber and I have been on VidMe since day one, I think. One question, when was the last time you were at a seven eleven and did you survive? Jokes, jokes. Relax people. We need to laugh more than ever now. I love all humanity... just not the tiny eskimo people, they scare me.
    • BrianAiya parent reply If you have time to watch my video and comment, then you are not a big YTer ;) big YTers aint got time for me. :P Thanks for watching Jamie!
  • [ – ] RoughPanic reply Yo that was super funny, and the comparisons you made are pretty spot on. What you said about the community destroying itself from the inside is actually a great point. At least for now, vidme is vidme's biggest threat. If everything doesn't handle itself well enough, that will be the most damaging. Oh and the ending was perfect.
    • BrianAiya parent reply thanks for watching RoughPanic :) yea, we have to many new people coming in so it's hard to keep the culture stable, but all of us here who were here from the beginning are the ones to create the norms for this community. Overall, i think vidme will be okey, since many creators point out the issues and the team listens.
  • [ – ] Draximus reply I didn't get the skit at all
  • [ – ] createbits reply I think by staying and focusing on vidme we will be able to grow and foster a community that's hopefully not as clickbait-y and sensational as Youtube. Great video!
    • BrianAiya parent reply Yes, everyone here now are building the foundations and the culture of Vidme. If people in Vidme sees that you can get views without clickbaiting and posting spam follow4follow comments, then that will encourage this behavior. Ps. Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it :)
  • tree_theTraveller reply this is how to get verified: https://vid.me/verified recently verified people: https://vid.me/MattHenshaw how is he verified without any video or comment points
  • [ – ] AdamUPNow reply Even if a platform like Vid.me doesn't succeed it was worth trying and meeting new people.
  • [ – ] rulesforrebels reply hey buddy i enjoy your videos. i think the things keeping big creators away are lack of monetization and lack of audience. vidme is still small, also the niches on this site while growing is pretty small. this is mostly gaming, animation and talking about vidme vs youtube. i personally am in the entrepreneur/business niceh and im like the only guy in my niche on here. i think we need to expand the types of content on this site to bring in more people with various types of content.
  • [ – ] TheeKaze reply Dude, since when were you a vidme star? Haha nice stuff
  • [ – ] TerminalMontage reply It's cool to see how much interaction your videos get, look at all these comments! I hope Vidme gets more popular, I also hope they find other ways to monetize.. The tip thing being built in is nice, but right now it's basically Patreon and Youtube combined but not as popular.
    • BrianAiya parent reply That's what i love about Vidme where the interaction and comments matches the number of followers :) when i was in YT i might have 500 subs but 20 comments where 1/2 were obviously spam comments like "nice vid check out my channel" xD Yes the tipping system is great. Thanks for watching ;)
  • DomsPlaylist reply You Can Find the Song used At 1:30 On My Channel Right now. Support (one) of the first Vid me Music Channel. I'm actually Currently a Bus Boy :(
  • DomsPlaylist reply You Can Find the Song used At 1:30 On My Channel Right now. Support (one) of the first Vid me Music Channel. I'm actually Currently a Bus Boy :(
  • [ – ] Daniel-Malice reply Why would the big youtube creators come here? That's their bread and butter. Vidme I still believe is the future. But it's pathetic what youtube has become as of late towards conservatives. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.
    • top10archives parent reply You probably won't see the massive YT creators jumping ship or splitting their time between YT and Vidme, but there may be a small influx of the mid-level creators that want to try and integrate into Vidme's community. We used to comment on YT videos frequently but, as of late, it's been impossible to engage more than a handful of people on a video. It's like the inmates at the asylum were given access to YT and told to just... let loose!
    • BrianAiya parent reply Yes, many people join vidme for the free speech because their channels where being censored in YT.
  • [ – ] dxpinoyanime reply Nice Video. Let's support Vidme to become a big company like youtube.
  • [ – ] AlexFuzz reply Ill admit. i'm new to this entire new platform. i really love the way Vid.me is pitched. its not just a "Video Sharing" website. its a community of people. and i really respect that. i like the true honest interaction that happens here. its very heart-warming to me.
    • BrianAiya parent reply First of all welcome to this community :) glad that you have a good impression for this place. Yea, everyone notices the community atmosphere
  • [ – ] Daizus reply this video is so cringe xDD
  • [ – ] sentientsalamand reply IHE is on this
  • [ – ] Roboyed reply Haha man you're great (love your hashtags too xD)! Now I'm really not knowledgeable on topics like this, but I think a reason they wouldn't stay for long is that Vidme isn't as profitable as YouTube at the moment (of course YouTube isn't as profitable since they started screwing up with their big content creators). That and they're already have an established fan base on YouTube. Either way I think Vidme is at a great place currently, it's growing at a healthy rate, and the community seems to be the same nice and helpful crew as when I joined at the beginning of this year. I fear if they grow too fast, then I fear the things we like so much about Vidme over YouTube, like them communicating with us (I like seeing them comment on content creators videos), to losing the nice community. Hopefully I'm making sense lol, keep up the channel, and you just got yourself a new follower <3!
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply Yes i understand what you mean. What i love about vidme is that the vidme team didn't do much marketing for this site, it's all organic growth, people talking about it. Yea, unfortunately if it grows to fast the vidme team has less time to watch and interact with the community. They are a team of 10 people, it's really tough for them. But i know that they are not stupid to follow the same mistakes as YT, they are keeping notes on the things YT did, so that they don't repeat it here. Thanks for the follow!
  • [ – ] Retro_Review reply I don't know, if IHE (I Hate Everything) was able to come here then it could be possible.
  • [ – ] Rokashaha reply Cool i am new to vidme
  • [ – ] OralRobots reply I've seen a few moderately successful YouTubers post a few videos on VidMe and give up. They should be cross-posting their YouTube videos on VidMe and building their presence here in anticipation of YouTube's impending demise.
    • BrianAiya parent reply yea. many creators use vidme as a back up place to store their vids. but those who want to give vidme a try, they just upload and expect it to do well.
  • [ – ] MutantPixel reply I was using @Aiya before it was cool. Really though, these are all good points. Big youtubers are all set in and making their monies. Here, we're a community. Hopefully we keep it that way and let everyone know they got a place here.
    • BrianAiya parent reply Well, many people will start using vidme because there are opportunities to make more monies :P but as long as we can keep this community not cancerous, then we are all good
  • [ – ] michaelbeene reply just signup to vidme thanks for making a long vid wink wink xD thanks for sharing your thoughts and good edits keep up the good work I don't plan on making vids but for the 1st time I might thank you for the inspiration.
    • BrianAiya parent reply JUST START for the fun of it! :) Vidme is a safe environment and there are opportunities and real support. Give it a try ;) glad that i could inspire you :)
  • [ – ] WolfandRaptor reply 3 BIG BALLS
  • [ – ] Floris4183 reply Nice vid man! Lets make this work!
  • [ – ] CapMcSwegertin reply THASS MUH BOI
  • [ – ] asdasdsadasd reply how do I dislike this
  • asdasdsadasd reply how can I dislike this
  • [ – ] Gorkey reply Hi aiya How to u feel so comertable infront of the camera? Can u teach me please Im 14 and i really want u to help me out that would mean alot!
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply 1st of all, it's cool that you are showing your face in your channel, that's the 1st step of going out your comfort zone. Sorry i can't teach you how to be more comfortable in front of the cam. I just want you to know that my 1st years of making vids, I was REALLY shy and awkward. I am an introvert too. Just a advice. Go to your favorite big Youtubers, idk, like Pewdiepie and watch their 1st vlogs. See how cringy they were and how shy they were. Also watch your 1st video ever and see how much you improve. Give yourself credit too. Just KEEP ON UPLOADING and learning how to improve. Good luck with your channel. If you need something more, just message me.
      • Gorkey parent reply Yeah i Wonder What u think about my video? Nobody sees then and comments and stuff u know How it is i feel kinda sad, but Thanks for helping
  • [ – ] AaronDavis reply Loved the Scarce bit.
  • [ – ] hayhoestudios reply This is incredible content. Let's build a community and work together for the greater good broski! Keep up the great work with the awesome videos!
  • [ – ] Cheetaheffect reply This video quality is great, way better than the crap on youtube
    • BrianAiya parent reply All creators here are like indie artist while the hollywood just make reboots ;) Glad you think that there are good quality vids here. Especially the animators here in Vidme! they really deserve more love than what they get in YT.
  • [ – ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply I've been a waiter and I've worked retail jobs. I have a lot of respect for all the people who make others' lives a little better, just by doing their jobs. You are very creative, entertaining and you make sense too! Good job!
  • [ – ] Anonymous_Gamer reply Awesome message!! Thank you.
  • [ – ] mightishare reply I do sure hope we creators who didn't have a chance in hell on Youtube have a better chance here. I'll be honest, I myself am fully aware that I'm doing something that's similar to what millions of others are doing, but it's the field in which my ideas keep racing in lol, and I've got so much more in mind that I plan to do. Plus I've got more music in mind that I'd like to post to my channel once I can get back into the right mindset to record it in between video work. I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing. Some of these things are going to take time, and I will NOT be able to upload week to week at times like I keep hearing big Youtubers say that you have to do. Is that REALLY true even if you already have like 20 videos up that people might like and that nobody has seen yet? Certain ideas and amounts of them especially at once in one video are going to take time for me to bring to life. And see, I'm not going to pretend that I'm not interested in making it big. But if it doesn't h...moreappen, at least I have the freedom to get everything I have in mind done and uploaded. As little as 5 comments per video is enough to show that my stuff is at least getting seen by someone.
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply be humble that 5 people leave a comment in your vids. Everyone started with literally 0. Yes, in YT now, it's oversaturated and you have to play with their rules and games and algorithm to get noticed. For once, i can say that Vidme gives hope to us smaller creator to leave all the noise and cancer in YT. Remember, it's not only about uploading vids, I know that maybe it takes 1 month to upload 1 vids for you, but between that time you need to build relationships with that 5 people who comment on your vids and to be active in the community. A good video is not enough, we have to act like humans and also care that we cannot succeed alone. Good luck with your channel. I hope vidme give you hope to do more.
      • mightishare parent reply Yea, good points there. I interact with my viewers and do my best to be active. You're right, it's not about just videos being watched. A video of you is a vessel of your character and you should be yourself on or off the screen. Thanx for the hope :)
  • [ – ] JonboyGames reply I'm not too concerned if big YouTubers come to vid.me, as if that would be the only way to legitimize the platform. It's not.
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply yup. I'm not concerned to if they come. I would like them to come. It's just hard to convince them to start from "scratch"
      • JonboyGames parent reply For sure, Vidme only appeals to smaller channels trying to grow, but that makes up the majority of YouTube so Vidme will do just fine if they develop it into a good platform. It seems to be going that direction.
  • [ – ] Tentacle_tyrant reply great vid,
  • [ – ] ragestew reply Well, I just hit 10,300 on Youtube. Uploading on Vidme I have 1 follower on here. Nobody wants to start over.
    • BrianAiya parent reply I understand it's hard to start from scratch, but many creators here started with 1 followers too and now they have more followers here than in YT, and these are creators who didn't have any support or big fanbase from YT. You can do it.
  • [ – ] gumbino reply I died when you started playing the attack on titan theme
  • [ – ] DramaAlertKS reply Really enjoyed it!
  • [ – ] NathanSifuGaming reply That was pretty good :D lot of really good, subtle jokes in there.
  • [ – ] Profitsforall reply It would take a complete collaspe before any large YouTube creator come here or any other alternate video sharing site.
    • BrianAiya parent reply well, there aren't many options. Noone wants to go to dailymotion or vimeo :P The options are limited. You are right
  • [ – ] crua9 reply A tip that might help is you might want to lower the volume of the music slightly. Your voice is competing against the music instead of the music being background sound.
  • [ – ] TheChangingWays reply If someone accuses me of being a hippster I will just say: sure I am... I am using Vidme before it has become cool.
  • [ – ] AP_Games reply Great video! Perfect blend of comedy and information :) I'm new to Vid.Me and I'm glad to be a part of this hipster platform!
  • [ – ] OnyxDigitalCommissions reply Here by dub the hasbeen broken down washed out Youtube officially as CorporateTube. :)
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply Yup. We went to YT because it wasn't TV, and now they are becoming what we were trying to avoid xD
      • OnyxDigitalCommissions parent reply Yep like I said I think "You" should be excluded and now be officially called CorperateTube. Maybe if we spread it among the vidme community the term will stick =P.
  • [ – ] Odd_Pod reply Great vid
  • [ – ] TheScreaminGoat reply If you guys GI watch the yt CEO talk about the future of yt she sounds like the guy from the Xbox e3 conference in how many times they mention TV.
  • [ – ] tree_theTraveller reply i am new here, how do i put my video in a category like vlog travel tc
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply welcome to the vidme community :) You must be verified 1st here https://vid.me/verified also read the https://vid.me/faq
  • [ – ] scottwebb reply All I can think is: I still can't believe it's not butter!!
  • [ – ] BJCRfilms reply ayy! thank you for the comedy you provide! excellent stuff !
  • [ – ] RONandIRA reply cool cool cool
  • [ – ] TheVlog reply yes vidme could become something big and congrats on 400 followers, I just followed also =)
  • [ – ] JoelLeeX777 reply I sincerely love ur vidme name, Aiya. Huehe.. Also such a cute rodent / pet u have
  • [ – ] ScaryStoriesNYC reply What????
  • [ – ] Justinator5000 reply So many Aiya in one video! HA.
  • [ – ] dreambigbeats reply so true
  • [ – ] Andy reply i dont mind big youtubers not being on vidme.. it gives us smaller people a place to be!
    • BrianAiya parent reply Same here, I don't mind if they come, but i hope that their viewers will stay here longer then the big creators and not just come for that BIG YTers.
  • [ – ] JustHypeVibe reply That pepsi reference though.
    • BrianAiya parent reply After they spent all their money for Kendall Jenner, they came to be for sponsorship because i'm cheaper xD
  • [ – ] GamerRaf reply This was hilarious XD! Great job!
  • [ – ] Epica reply Because we don't need them. We got make our own culture.
    • BrianAiya parent reply YEA!!! All of us now set the foundation and we are the cornerstone of this community. When new people come and see what's the norm, then they will react differently than in YT.
  • [ – ] SuperN3rdMaster reply Hey what is up scarce here lamo
  • [ – ] DyslexiCBeanie reply Your awesome brother. <3
  • [ – ] rebeledgeentertainment reply Working in customer service helped me deal with real people in the real world. Being a waiter I would imagine has the same effect. I'm cool with being a nerd but hipster not my thing. You kill it with the jokes in this video. I didn't even know Maisie Williams had a YouTube. The community aspect of Vidme will allow Vidme to thrive and surpass YouTube someday. I don't mind big YouTubers as long as they have askagangstas mindset and care about the community. We all are here cause we are passionate and love what we do. I always heard the phrase you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Well you can't teach a big YouTuber not to be selfish and egotistical. Again Askagangsta is not different cause I think he is about community at heart.
  • [ – ] UnarmoredForce reply Aiya that waiter skit was 10/10!! All in all I like vidme for the community, my channel isn't growing quite like it is on Youtube, but I've gotten to know other creators that make awesome content and I'm happy with that. Don't go full kyojin on that cute lil' critter now! ;)
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply this would happen if creators made a meet and greet in a restaurant xD IF you become more active in this community i think you will surpass your YT subscriber following. But don't think about the number, but the quality of the comments and viewers :) You will do well. OH ITS SATURDAY! gotta watch the new ep of AoT
      • UnarmoredForce parent reply I wasn't thinking of the numbers, but exactly about the comments. But like I said, I'm not here for growth. ^^ I can't watch the new AoT yet, because I've promised to watch the season with my SO. :((
  • [ – ] Proto reply LMAO! I laughed so hard at the waiter skit at the beginning hahahahaha. Also vidme cop part haha. I agree with you though it takes a lot of patience sometimes.
  • [ – ] VukMUS reply We don't need to be a refuge. We should strive to develop our own identity. If people from other platforms come here to stay, it will be because of that. Moreover, if we focus on developing our own identity, then, whatever comes in the future will not affect the core of what Vidme is all about.
  • [ – ] Focus_Entertainment reply h3h3 and MrCreepyPasta recently joined. A lot of the big youtubers are feeling the crunch of the ad boycott and I think more and more will make the switch. But anyways that's just a quick 2 cents from me haha I did enjoy your video bro :)
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply i saw that verified H3h3 account, but i am skeptical xD h3h3 never metioned it or uploaded anything. we need to bring the medium Yters not the Big YTers. The average Yter is the one who is struggling the most. They need vidme the most
      • Focus_Entertainment parent reply Yeah it's odd that h3h3 haven't uploaded anything at all. I agree to an extent, but if a big youtuber is willing to hop over to Vidme, knowing their reach won't be anywhere near what it was on youtube, that's pretty rad. And it can only help the platform grow. But yeah I don't want the big guns jumping in and just hogging the show either.
  • [ – ] AwesomeGames007 reply I definitely think it is easier to be noticed here. I also like that most content creators here can respond to everyone. On YouTube you don't get that because there are so many people on it.
    • BrianAiya parent reply Yes, i'm sure that many Yters want to respond to their fans, but the comment section in Yt is the worst! the top comments are always spam comments to it's hard for the creator to have a decent reaction with true fans.
  • [ – ] KotaTail reply When you said to not dump videos and be active in the comments, I dump my comments and barely even upload so it's the opposite 😂😂
    • BrianAiya parent reply What you are doing it better than the 1st xD Better you be active in the community and have no vids in your channel than having 100s of vids and no comments.
  • [ – ] S1Husky reply I really do hope Vidme continues to grow, and I agree that getting involved with the community is important! I've watched and spoken to so many great creators here on Vidme! :)
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply Yup. Many people only focus on the quality of content they make, but they forget in the quality of relationship they have with the community and the people who support them. We are nothing without the people in this community.
      • [ – ] S1Husky parent reply Which is what I love about the community over here personally. Well, at least what I love about a good portion of the community so far. When I leave a comment most of the time I can look forward to a legitimate response. I feel like a person instead of just a number on a follower count. :)
        • BrianAiya parent reply I understand what you mean. All creators are also viewers to others. Like if a BIG Yters reply to my comment, that would make my whole day maybe. Making vids is good, but acknowledging the support and time people give is better ;) Thanks for always commenting dude.
  • [ – ] WooFit reply your videos hold so much truth and are SO entertaining!! haha thank you brother!
  • [ – ] 512markdd reply Another great video, congrats on the continued success and love watching you continue to grow. And thanks for the shoutout that means a lot from you Aiya!
    • BrianAiya parent reply Thanks for watching dude! Yes, i don't have much to give, but i have to acknowledge those who support me, that's the least i can do for now.
  • [ – ] soulalreadysold reply Firstly, you have convincing arguments. Secondly, you're one of the funniest guys here on Vidme. And thirdly: your hamster is so cute! I used to own one as well! =D
    • BrianAiya parent reply 1stly, thank you, many people have the same thoughts as me. 2ndly, humor is subjective but glad you like my comedy :) 3rdly, i have him for 2 years already... :/ anyday can be the day...
  • [ – ] DGTLONE reply Awesome video bro i agree with a'lot of points you bring up. I think if Vidme can draw in some ad revenue and get some comercials rolling on video's and giving the creators some diff revenue streams. It will make others take a second look and Then it might be to late for them . Vidme needs to strike while the irons hot with the ad agencies about getting them onboard and ready because you gotta know they are working on this like crazy they know it's there time to grab the golden ring. Big upvote from me
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply yup. Im sure they are working on getting some advertisers here too. The more controversy YT has, the more traction vidme gets. So as you said, this is a golden opportunity. Thanks for the upvote!
  • [ – ] TimThebodeau reply LMAO that Pepsi skit killed me! 😂😂😂
  • [ – ] AxxL_Afriku reply if pewdiepie joins vidme many many many people have to follow. but he wont
  • [ – ] Kentantino reply great video bruh and is true thank god we are getting the more friendly people XD not the cancer lol
    • BrianAiya parent reply Yes, eventually some tumor will get in, but it's out job as a community not to encourage it and turn a blind eye on it.
  • [ – ] BrassCandy reply Nice scarce meme 👌😂
  • [ – ] JonnySel007 reply I really want to use Vidme as a viable platform beside YouTube. But some things about it really put me off. Most notably the verification process and the fact that their video player does not support 60 FPS video, 4K + videos, and playback speed controls (like what YouTube already has).
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply i understand how you feel but YT is like more than 10 years old, vidme is still growing and trying to get the basics and minimum done. Eventually they will do it but they need time. Patience if you can.
      • JonnySel007 parent reply For now, I am taking as much advantage of YouTube as possible since they have improved their platform so much over the years (because of the quality playback controls they already have, not to mention Subtitling and CC options). Visual quality and options matter a lot to me not just personally, but to allow the wide variety of users to watch my content in the best video quality settings possible. Need I clarify that I take visual quality very seriously, not just the content of the video. I am a professional at what I do, so I must use what I can to provide viewers options for high-quality video.
  • [ – ] Niclo reply It would be great if vid.me got Pyro and h3h3. We vidizens would be taken seriously.
  • [ – ] Somanylimes reply Great intro LOL
  • [ – ] wearegods reply Did you just assume my gender? Good assumption, I have balls.
  • [ – ] AnimeReviews reply The jokes were great and you'e a fun guy!
  • [ – ] Morganhearst reply You tube is trying to be the new cable they promote networks over content creators, they are stifling free speech and anyone that has a different opinion than their corporate masters. That is why we need Vidme to kill the monopoly and thus control they have over this format for free exchange of idea's on a global scale...
    • BrianAiya parent reply Yes, maybe in some years, we can't put YT and Vidme in the same category. YT with YT TV is obviously following Netflix. Yes, vidme might not surpass Yt but atleast to be a formidable competitor
  • [ – ] SamEarl13 reply Really good way to make a video like this, all the skits and small jokes were really funny. I totally agree with you too, I remember once comparing vidizens to waiters but for something totally different: basically no matter how good what you serve is you usually get negative response if you ask for/expect tips.
    • BrianAiya parent reply Glad you agree, but I also understand why people say vidme is like oldschool YT because before people uploaded vids without knowing where YT would go, and only creators in MCN's could be a Youtube Partner. But now everyone and anyone could do YT for money, those who complain that 10K lifetime views to get partnered to have adsense forgot that the OG Youtubers made videos for years before getting their 1st cents :) Glad to serve in this community.
  • [ – ] Smiless reply Aiya I joined vidme 1 day earlier than you therefore I'm better than you hah
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply I blame timezones for that! It was daylight savings time! So it means we joined the same time. xD
      • [ – ] Smiless parent reply Well it's your fault for not livin' in 'MERICAAAAAAAAAAAAA
        • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply I follow the Mayan calendar. So it means, i'm better than you!
          • [ – ] Smiless parent reply You're getting a message in my next video explaining your failures >:(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((...more((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
            • BrianAiya parent reply don't put the sad face, orelse you have to change your username to frownss :P Well, then tag me when you make your next video ;)
  • XartiXV reply I think that a few of the big YTers will come here, because of the adpocalypse, everyone getting screwed by YT's hireups/political correctness, crazy bots, and other serious reasons.
  • TheNewAmericanMedia reply A revolution is coming thanks to YouTube jumping the shark and censoring content creators. It's obvious that they shouldn't allow horrible content on the site, but political opinions do not fit the criteria they are using,....hence our creation of the VidMe channel.
  • RellDatMan reply Tbh I. Dont wont want big youtubers to join vidme. Because there would be drama they would clash with other content creators and utterly ruin vidme i dread the day vidme becomes a hub for youfake aka youtube lol i enjoy real caring content not money hunger creators
  • [ – ] BentoMomma reply I'm just happy to have these platforms to find cool content to follow/watch! :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
  • [ – ] WalkingForWeightLoss reply Aiya, hopefully the big ones will wake up and move on past YT. Even routine YT apologists like Philip DeFranco are now getting fed up with YT - now that it's seemingly hurting their bottom line financially. YT seems to be having an indemnity crisis and it seems as though up and coming, little creators have little chance there anymore.
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply Well, youtube already showed us what they wanted to be. They want to be TV like Netflix. So small creators have no chance anymore, they want high polished family friendly videos. We don't know yet if Vidme is the answer, but while people are using vidme it's safe to use other places like Twitch or Beam.pro maybe Facebook will make a come back. Who knows? Good luck with your channel here in Vidme :)
      • [ – ] WalkingForWeightLoss parent reply I lost faith in the big 3 (YT, FB, and Twitter) as viable venues for small creators. I've never heard of Beam.pro - I'll have to check it out. If you were to focus group test me about Twitch all I could tell you is I don't get it - seems to be for gamers and concerts?? There's also Vimeo but looks like you have to pay for it. HitRecord seems pretty confusing and messy to navigate. Here's hoping Vidme prevails as being able to meet the needs of creators.
        • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply I think for us non gamers. Vidme, FB, and instagram are the top sites for creating unless we wait for the next big thing like Vine or Snapchat. But we all hope that Vidme will be the next big thing.
          • [ – ] WalkingForWeightLoss parent reply Yep. Beam.pro would not be a match for me unless I can live stream me playing Ms. Pacman, Tetris, or Words With Friends 😄
            • BrianAiya parent reply Vidme is my main hub. But using Instagram, Twitter and snapchat helps for creators like us. Try getting into Instagram stories too. We have to try everything and then choose.
  • [ – ] PREDRAGSG reply TRULY INSPIRING VIDEO ... DEAR FRIEND, JUST DISCOVERED VID.ME AND FOUND THAT HAS SOME NEW ENERGY WITHIN, WITH COOL GAME VIDEOS, TRULY OPEN SPEECH ON ANY SUBJECT... I WOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT YOUTUBE LOOSING NOT ONLY MONEY, BUT ALL THE CREATORS, AND ALL THE VIEWERS AS SOON THEY FIND VID.ME AND SOME OTHER VERY NEW VIDEO PLATFORMS, WHO WILL RESPECT ALL THE EFORTS THAT CREATORS PUT IN, AS WELL VID.ME IS NOT GREEDY AT ALL, LIKE YOUTUBE [FB, GOOGLE...ETC...], SO THE REVENUES WOULD BE EQUALLY DISTRIBUTED... SO, IN MY HUMBLE VIEW, VID.ME IS A VIDEO PLATFORM FOR NEW AND CLEAN EARTH INTERNET, WHERE EVERY CREATOR IS RESPECTED EQUALY, NO MATTER WHAT THEY TALK ABOUT... AS WELL, WHAT DO YOU THINK FOR SUGGESTION THAT DONATIONS OR TIPS COULD BE DONE IN BITCOIN?... THANK YOU FOR SO OPENLY PROMOTING VID.ME AND CONGRATS ON 450+ SUBS... BLESSINGS... PSG...
    • BrianAiya parent reply Thanks for watching my video! :) Yes, Vidme already accepts Bitcoin as they mentioned in their twitter https://twitter.com/vidme/status/865019594976575488 This place is refreshing and everyone here feels that there is potential and hope in this community
  • [ – ] Iannis_Hour reply eeemmmm wrere are u ????U didnt upload for a while
  • [ – ] traedarknezz reply Congrats. Great video.
  • [ – ] Ramona77 reply Great Video. Funny! Your amazing.
  • [ – ] Nightwulf29 reply Great discussion here. I agree with your views and I like the community here with being more supportive of each other. Great production here and definitely left you a follow!
    • BrianAiya parent reply Welcome to the community dude! :) Yes! everyone here are very supportive because we share the same experience and pain in YT. Thanks for the follow :) i appreciate it
  • [ – ] Zuffin reply Are there no ads in this bitch?
  • [ – ] JojoDily reply Youtube, You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the TV Shows, not join them, bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness!
    • BrianAiya parent reply YES! we went to YT because we wanted to stop watching TV and now they are becoming what we don't want. The irony.
  • [ – ] ScreamGG reply Getting verified on here sucks, and the limit to upload sucks too. Just thought I'd say that.
  • [ – ] DwarvenGamesmith reply Good stuff man
  • bunniiBGG reply im gonna go watch Hamtaro now xD
  • [ – ] bunniiBGG reply Congrats on 500 Aiya! WOOT!!!
    • [ – ] BrianAiya parent reply OH YEA! i passed 500! Thanks for being the 1st to tell me this! Next video i have to thank again for all of you guys for helping me grow.
      • bunniiBGG parent reply Hahaha you didn't notice? Lol well im glad I got to break the news to you. You deserve the 500 follows. Keep it up Aiya! :D
  • [ – ] BarbellBosses reply Dude this is hilarious!
  • [ – ] smoothcc reply Great video. Too funny with that pepsi part. Wasn't expecting that lol.
  • [ – ] Ms_K reply awesome video @Aiya
