  • [ – ] TheSmusher reply That is nice in the Beverly Hills area. Great seeing you take the time to walk when you can and seeing you find a balance in your life. Breaking up your walk will make your weight loss more effective.
  • [ – ] ExcalibursZone reply Have you considered investing in an activity tracker like a VivoActive, Vivofit, or FitBit?
    • WalkingForWeightLoss parent reply I use a walking tracker app and calorie counting app. I am not strict about counting calories. I feel it's ok to estimate. I keep a document of foods I eat most commonly so it's easy to reference. The apps however allow you to scan the bar-code of a food item and it will then tell you how many calories it was.
  • [ – ] BentoMomma reply expand (possible spam) Where do you find the time for full walks during the day? I love walking/running but can't ever seem to find the time.
    • WalkingForWeightLoss parent reply Hi BentoMomma. I am self-employed, single, and I have no kids. On your channel I see you're a "full time working mom to two busy kids" so I can imagine you're days must be super busy. It's a blessing to have a family and I commend you for all you do as a working mom. Because of me being self-employed and single with no kids, I can fit in 2-3 hours per day for walking. If I had traditional employment or kids, I wonder if I would be able to do this. Not sure. Imagine how much walking humans must have did in the prehistoric eras and even in recent history times before the automobile was invented. I don't know what it's like up there in Canada but here in the USA there's so much structure designed to keep us sitting staring at screens.
