Eureka; finally a decent way to preserve Super Sea Snails while simultaneously having them more like community…or something like that. Introducing the Jellyfish Suit for Super Sea Snails! …The name needs work, I know.
Sadly, these are just dupe models; I welded a Super Sea Snail inside a Jelonzo model (because there are no normal Splatoon Jellyfish models available for gmod), which I used Sub Material Tool to make certain textures invisible and replaced the skin texture with that of the Pilot Goggles from the Full Hats Pack addon (so never try to unweld these models, or the Sea Snail model will fall out). And as dupes, only my Steam friends would have the easiest access to them (not that anyone else can’t; it’ll just take hours on end for others to find ‘em). It’ll still be difficult to animate too, because in order to access the Super Sea Snail with tools like Face Poser, Easy Bodygroup Tool and Stop Motion Helper, you’ll need to go into noclip mode and go into the Jellyfish model to click on the prop, preferably at its front side. Every single time. But it’s still a decent idea and would probably be even more worth it if some veteran modelist could work their magic to make this a full-fledged model. I would also like to thank the gmod newcomer and recent Steam friend of mine The Graduate Apple (a.k.a. Applwmobile) for inspiring me (or rather a new OC named Madame Anjellyca C. Shore) to come up with this idea in the first place, on account this guy’s already too good a gmodder to be given away to Spyke for an extra Gear Slot.
