ANCO first obtained municipal permit #1458-14, then after completion of an underground utility mark out, mobilized to the site and excavated around the tank. Vapors were purged via displacement with dry ice. The tank was cut open with a sparkles air chisel, then was vacuumed and cleaned by Lorco Petroleum of Elizabeth, NJ. Corrosion holes were observed through the tank shell. Gasoline contaminated soil was observed after removing the tank.
