  • [ – ] theoldsparrow reply Sasha speaks in a dialect that is not too far away from Tokyo (the main) dialect but a bit bumpkin. Also the translations kind of over did it when it comes to localization. Dagnabbit for example was a localization of a phrase very common in Tokyo dialect so they were really trying to play up the bumpkin aspect of the village. It is nice to see the story flesh out some of the side characters which we'll see a bit of this arc.

I've heard of dagnabbit here too i thought it was a very old fashioned word to be honest its something people dont use much in the UK xD Sasha definitely needed this backstory to her so people don't always think of her as just the 'potato girl' although i think that's going to stick with her for quite some time haha.
