Anyways, we start off toward Goodneighbor this time around, and stop by the Combat Zone to recruit Cait on the way there. Cait will be quite handy with her lockpicking skills in future videos, and getting a new companion means we can load Piper up and send her on home.
Once we get to Goodneighbor, we can also load up Cait and send her home once we get MacCready.
We can get MacCready's affinity up quite a bit right from the start, with all the price-negotiation speech checks (and we just happened to run into Edward Deegan here, which gets us another speech check), disreputable quests, and stuff to steal in Goodneighbor.
We also send the Vault-Tec Rep to Sanctuary for later. Do note that if you actually want to use him later, keep in mind that he's not flagged as essential until you talk to him in Sanctuary, meaning he can die pretty easily if you leave Goodneighbor while he's still in the area. I'd recommend sleeping for a while to give him time to leave the area.
