It feels great to be back with some more Ocarina of Time metal! It's been waay too long. I've been wanting to do this battle theme forever. The original composition and arrangement for it is nothing short of genius. Believe it or not, the time signature for this piece is 23/16!! How does one even compose that let alone make it so memorable!? The theme gives the theme such a unsettling vibe which is perfect for taking on the king of evil. I felt confident going into this arrangement that I was going to absolutely shred it! Of course, I felt that I had to open with the amazing "Ganondorf's Theme" to set the tonne. This theme is significantly simpler and follows a regular 4/4 time signature. However the chord progression is so beautifully evil and eerie, it leads up perfectly to the battle theme. I couldn't resist attempting a djent breakdown in 23/16 as well later in my arrangement, I'm actually still floored in disbelief how sick it turned out. I totally thought It wouldn't be possible! I hope you guys enjoy this super evil jam as much as I enjoyed making it ~ thanks so much for watching, and don't forget, Hyaa HEYT SHEAYT! ➤ The original Ganondorf Battle Theme from the game "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" was composed by Koji Kondo Thanks so much to Toegoff for the game footage.
