It's been a while since I've done a Double Feature (last time was with the Streetpass Arena tracks for Shovel Knight FDS), so here it is.
For the first one, it was mainly done because Super Viola Bros. asked me in the comments of 'Blood of Brinstar' if I had an .nsf of Mario 1's Underwater theme. I did not have one on hand, but did my best to port it for him so he could use it for a high quality video. You can find that here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCliLgObW4k
However, now that I had the track ready to go, I wondered if I could port said track to VRC6. So I did, and the first song was the result.
THEN I wanted to try remixing the commonly-used underground theme in VRC6 as well. Why? Because surprisingly, there weren't any Famitracker covers out there (not from what I could tell). For that, I took inspiration from both the SMB3 version and the New Super Mario Bros. Wii remix. I think it turned out pretty well, actually.
