  • [ – ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply You know, that's probably the scariest notion that humanity secretly fears, the idea that our Creator has abandoned us, that we've been left alone to our own devices. The idea of being so cut off from our senses, so alone in the void as it were, isn't that how we feel being in a three-dimensional reality with only five basic senses to work with? What if none of the five basic senses is capable of sensing the Creator? What then? If the Creator is the sustainer of life, don't we need that connection to truly feel alive? And if the connection feels lost, then do we feel lost as well? I'm not talking religion, just basic energy/consciousness physics really. Just rambling aloud. I probably shouldn't type late at night :) Another thought-provoking story. Good job!
    • MarzieMalfoy parent reply Thank you!! Yeah, I really liked this story because of the concept. I always wondered "What if" in religion. I grew up Roman Catholic. I didn't question my faith as a child, I just had questions.
  • [ – ] theoldsparrow reply This image of the only way I initially imagined him to lose his sense of touch was to remove his skin made this all the more creepy.
    • MarzieMalfoy parent reply Oh wow! That would have really brought the fear factor up. I think I read a book about something like that before but I cannot remember what it is. And thank you so much for the tip. You are so kind :)
  • [ – ] HeroicVillain reply Whoa, I didn't expect you to do another one so quickly. Nice!
