The main goal in this part is heading to the Mass Pike Interchange to kill Winlock and Barnes, one of the steps needed to max out MacCready's affinity and get his awesome (for this build) perk.
But first, I stop by Vault 81 to do Dr. Forsythe's blood test, which you need to do for the "Hole in the Wall" quest to eventually become available.
Next, I "take over" Oberland Station in a not-so-nice manner, since I'm not particularly fond of having to run halfway across the map to do some quest then run all the way back to get access to a workshop. Plus, I don't plan on building it up just yet, so leaving it with no settlers is preferable for the time being.
Thankfully, your companions are pretty dumb, so they won't question you when you leave them a ways away from a settlement, come back to grab them after a couple minutes, then show them "your" brand new settlement decorated with settler corpses.
While I'm in the area, I also go grab the Alien Pistol (after popping the head of its previous owner, of course).
Next stop is Egret Tours Marina, which I'll be building up in a fashion similar to Taffington Boathouse.
