  • [ – ] ComputingForever reply Thanks to everyone whose joined Vid.me. I think there's something great going on over here. Cheers everyone
    • [ – ] Styxhexenhammer666 parent reply It is possible to fight web censorship. We merely need to get those with the largest audiences involved.
      • SourdoughGeek parent reply If Google wants to put an end to YouTube as it's been known they're just going to do it. It would not be the first time they end a popular product. I'm not saying don't try to hang on, but just prepare for the worst.
      • newgraves parent reply You sir are also my internet hero
      • 6Lurk6Moar6 parent reply Hey Styx. I saw you mentioning using your twitter again. Just an FYI there are services (free) like Crowdfire which will auto tweet your new videos each time you upload them or even a variety of RSS feed to twitter programs. It's automated and would be a major help. ;)
    • ArcanePath360 parent reply Glad to be here, away from the censorship.
    • cmbijpost parent reply We need to pull more creators over here. I'm so done with Youtube, google and facebook. Crappy asshats.
    • boarshead parent reply Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Dave! nice platform, I will be making use of that tip function on pay-day ;) also "discovered" GAB.ai recently, good to see you are there too. Just need a good gmail alternative to completely de-googlefy..
    • [ – ] Massage4Fun parent reply Well, I hope Vid.me does not become like a youtube with so many rules and restrictions;( I had a very good channel here on vid.me and it was deleted, I had over 100 000 followers;( Cross your fingers about vid.me they will not turn out just like another YT!!!!
    • RedDaikini parent reply Just discovered VidMe after watching your vid on the subject, and I feel like it will soon supplant YouTube as my default. Viva la revolucion!
    • Cellblock776 parent reply Glad to be here. I'm beginning to move content here.
    • Tilveran parent reply You're welcome Dave, hopefully this platform works out better.
    • [ – ] TheCossack parent reply Yandex is a good alternative to google
    • ImmaLittlePip parent reply vid.me and mind.com I want these two things to be successful
    • Reeedom-of-Speech parent reply I came here today, I agree Dave, it feels like something fresh and I'm glad we've jumped at the right time. God speed everyone.
    • Awoudex parent reply You featured on PJW, decided to check this site out, i'll linger on youtube untill many content creators follow your example and upload here primarily
    • Tribal_NCS parent reply I couldn't agree more! Let's keep posting some great content to this site and it will explode!
    • girlreadingbooks parent reply I normally think Ted vids are circle-jerky, but this one is spot on and supports in parallel your points in discussing MSM "filter bubbles" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8ofWFx525s&feature=youtu.be
    • charliewired parent reply Hey Ohhhh …. Dave! heres to the rise of vidme!!
    • Fabrickator parent reply This is the video that made me switch to Vid.Me ironically I watched it on youtube ...I dont want to just sit around and let them take our free speech and push everone into a little box again....anyway great work Computing and keep up the great work
    • TheGoldenPathAwakening parent reply Problem is migrating users to here. But im glad to see the views being counted where on youtube they tend to shave some off. Cheers for those who joined. Just hope Vidme doesnt go the YT route.
  • [ – ] TheseMemesRDank reply I just got vidme to follow you, and am actually enjoying it quite nicely.
  • [ – ] DavidCalles reply Vidme > YouTube
  • andmc reply Me too, just signed up hope i can find most of the channels i like
  • GameCastCubed reply I just signed up to this.It looks pretty cool tbh.
  • [ – ] bnShadow13 reply The more creators upload to vid.me, the better. I'm starting to make it a habit of watching on here than on Youtube.
  • moto_soda reply Also just signed up to vid.me.
  • Dahlia_Doom reply I always try to support my favorite youtubers by whitelisting channels from my adblock. I just started VidMe.com and I'm already liking this better than Youtube. Hope you keep fighting against the greedy establishment and keep up the good work.
  • GloriousCrusader reply I could get used to this
  • ShaneHamilton33 reply Just got Vid.me to follow you.
  • androlo reply nice initiative
  • RenBlogger reply I finally made the jump over here. I might as well cozy in and start using vid.me instead of youtube. . . following you here.
  • tlorynp reply Just signed up.
  • JoePCool14 reply Gonna be watching your videos on here from now on. #FreeSpeechMatters
  • solopolomcbovril reply Just signed up too...Ready for the you tube fallout!
  • spiderfan_MJ reply YT has sucked for a long time. Glad to see it finally catch up with them.
  • SourdoughGeek reply I deleted my google account a couple months ago and use feedly to get the feeds of YouTubers I follow... just wanted to let you know that even the feeds are delayed not by hours but days. The last video I see in the feed is "Canada Betrays its People". And for some YouTubers the specific videos seem to never come through the feed. There are a couple from Jeff Holiday I noticed are missing.
  • adey1kenobi reply Download the app and signed up to follow you.
  • halafradrimx reply This is what you get for putting a fucking jew as a CEO : more corporations controlled by other jews taking control over your stuff.
  • Malum reply Thanks to a video by "SFS Animation" on Youtube and your video here, I now have broken my chains of "Alphabet Inc". I have been looking for a viable Youtube alternative for many years now. I'm thrilled that this "Vidme" seems like it might just be what the doctor ordered. This is my very first comment on Vidme... I suspect it won't be my last.
  • Rawman reply wouldnt this be more of a "my theory" instead of a "the truth". cool video and all its just a lot of what you said can only be speculation and not 100% proven fact. anyways welcome to the site good to see you deciding to upload here first. would be nice to check out some computing channels on this site.
  • MaskofConflict reply I hate that it's come to this in regards of Youtube and its censorship... I know that I haven't seen ads on certain Youtube channels in quite awhile and I don't get adblock on my mobile! At first, I thought it was just me, but I see it's not. I do hope you'll be able to at least thrive here on vid.me and that this new place will grow as well.
  • BobTheDeplorable reply I got a communtiy guidelines strike for my last video on youtube, and it was removed. it was a criticism of the UK goverment. Then I discovered the UK goverment was one of the advertisers boycotting the site. I'm not saying it has anything to do with it, but damn it seems shady. Thank god for Vidme.
  • Joejoesgotflow reply Can't wait to see how far we will come as a community on this platform, as long as it stays this way, where anyone can upload nearly anything at anytime they want to instead of YouTube's money mil BS. I think we're going to be right at home here.
  • MarcavichHD reply Hey guys I'm baaaaack trying to get a head start on vid.me before YouTube fully goes cable
  • akatheSkay reply There's a media war coming of epic proportions, the fat cats are trying to take over the web before they lose full control and will try and destroy ANYTHING that gets in their way. The web over the years from newgrounds.com in it's prime to now has opened my eyes to things I never knew. Giving me faith and strength to be able to do things I thought I could never achieve, but all these assholes do is make me feel confused and powerless what to do all over again.
  • Anonymous_Official reply finally a video about what's going on on yt. cheers!!
  • [ – ] BrianAiya reply YEA YEA!! So many new people here! On behalf of everyone in Vidme (hope they dont mind) i just wanted to tell everyone WELCOME TO THE VIDME COMMUNITY! Any questions, just reply to to this comment
    • r2_d1000 parent reply Hello, I am a new user and I was wondering if vidme has any feature similar to annotations on YouTube or if they are planing to add a similar feature in the future. Thank you in advance!
  • LordeLogic reply 10:23 See not all of the left are bad.
  • [ – ] BeautifulBerserker reply So this is Vidme. It will do
  • Alucard_OTM reply Just started to follow you
  • ErickAlden reply I really hope Vid.me takes off and forces YouTube to stop this bs.
  • PowerKegGreg reply Whats the other site you said you be uploading to?
  • ChazEverlastt reply Dave Came over from Minds.com and YouTube !! Definitely going to support you the best I can.
  • hoofed reply Happy to watch your content on alternative platforms, Dave.
  • WatchRyder reply YT has been on the slide since at least 2013 if you ask me. When they got rid of the star rating and began dumbing the interface down I was getting wary.
  • gaylord69 reply ginger nuts brought me here
  • D3monD4rk reply Youtube tendrá uma muerte doloroza y aburrida, no sé inglés :/
  • rumjar86 reply Censorship is a great way for us to all be raped by the big corporations. The ones that feel threatened by good content creators.
  • [ – ] chrishazfun reply Hopefully Vidme rolls out some kind of pledging option for channels, like tipping a certain amount of money every new video or something like that.
  • EddieCha reply My first vidme comment
  • pjalmighty42 reply Welp, I'm switching to this site. I guess Paul Watson IS correct. WE ARE THE COUNTER CULTURE! Are there any other of the like contributors on this platform? I would like to know more, and more, people get the hell away from that site and into this one...
  • [ – ] Ineedmoneysp reply A site like this will have to become a lot more popular and the creators will need to leave youtube and start making videos here. Only then will youtube lose its power and will probably try to change back to get people to creator for there site again. It is crazy that Youtube doesnt support its creates more. Hopefully more people will start leaving for this site which will be updated more and become better and could become what youtube is and was.
    • deocreative parent reply I agree the more larger creators come to vid.me (if they do) the more YouTube will pull back. Its going to be an interesting 18 months.
  • lyosea reply This is my new go to site now. Hopefully. Still will watch youtube for some big youtubers but will definitely stick to this site now. Joined today and its everything youtube should be.
  • el_presidente reply just signed up
  • TheGamingCentaur reply It looks like this video has spawned a lot of new Vidme users :D The more the merrier :) Just hope it doesn't turn into another "fans promoting only 1 type of video again" like last time. ^^;
  • AbandonedPlaces reply @ExploreWithUs
  • AbandonedPlaces reply This is so true!
  • wrben reply Everyone, tip the man at least a dollar minimum - it's going to take time to recover revenue and at least let's help him pay the bills and continue producing good material - if you enjoy the content, tip!
  • LeonLaGrey reply I had vidme for about a month right now and I like it. I will be using it more often. Thanks Dave for spreading the message, I will say that anything Google does I don't use anymore that I stay away. I use DuckDuckGo as my main search engine. It is decent but I use it all the time for 4 yrs I don't like using Google's search engine to be my collecting information. You are the best Dave will be supporting you all the way. I hope that all the content creators I watch will migrate to vid.me, YT will be in its death bed pretty soon enough, I know where most of my content will be upload too now.
  • hl2mukkel reply Woohoo! Hopefully more people will sign up for this.
  • Yayo420 reply the great migration is happening
  • MagicalPotatoes reply just wait until vidme allows ads. also vidme says that vidme is misspelled.
  • WatchRyder reply Gab pretty much is bolstered by the Alt-Right, there's a massive backlog to join them.
  • Aethelweard reply We're with you Dave! Patron on Patreon too!
  • BuddyRojek74 reply Hi, Goodbye Youtube. Now if you are smart and here, welcome to the illuminati
  • TronV reply Just joined VIDME because of this video on Youtube. Dangerous times Ahead... :-/
  • ABCguy reply Vid.me has a really good format. We really need to support this platform and boycott the feminist CEO at Youtube.
  • JodaMAX reply Its time for the next generation of social media platforms to take center stage.
  • Bonafide73 reply May Youtube be damned.
  • Gary777888 reply I will never go back to YouTube thanks vidme you rock
  • semi_sam reply Screw YouTube, I'm on here now
  • CarlosGaytan reply Just joined! Fuck youtube!
  • [ – ] Craftwithcookies reply CNN is tearing at the seams, soon they will DIE. (Hopefully)
  • gamerdadster reply Signed up yesterday, saw you on Infowars, happy I saw you, now I have accounts on both Minds.com and here. Great find.
  • SuperCodeman reply I'm just glad there's a place where smaller animators can get recognition, nearly all of my animations have been restricted on youtube's restricted mode even though they are not political and barely have any views.
  • pachma reply Following you all the way Dave.
  • Shabadadoo reply It feels so strange to know that such a prominent, seemingly immortal platform like YouTube could die in such a short amount of time
  • Gantzzz reply I'm lucky I just got here.. like just now.
  • Cirris reply anyone else have the video showing blank. and sound is normal?
  • deocreative reply The free market yearns for a YouTube competitor.
  • AnubisX64 reply Hey, I support your videos. Glad to see you and others move onto new platforms. Keep up great work!!
  • ElevatingTheTriStates reply I feel like the way to Trend on Vidme, is to make a video about why YouTube or Google Sucks.
  • nebulousmaximus reply Great video. And this site is pretty cool. But I have a bittersweet feeling about a mass-migration of contentious political and cultural content onto smaller platforms. I suspect some of the heads at YT, along with some corporate heads of the main adsense advertisers, are deliberately trying to demoralize freethinking (i.e. not MSM/bluepill swallowers) content creators from using their platform any long. They basically want to pen and thus ghettoize us onto obscure corners of the internet where the tens of millions of normies won't see our content right in from of them. YT wants to purge itself of edgelords and narrative contrarians and "purify" it into a safe space for passive-consumer normies who consume content from obedient creators who dare not to rock the boat in any way, shape or form. And the corporate heads of YT probably want to end up herding those folks into signing slimy contracts if they wish to make any ad money off their own content.
  • sid107 reply Wow, vidme is proving its self rather well. Keep it up my dude :D
  • KrotoR reply I love how the URL for this video is "H5LP" Almost as if the link itself is screaming for help!
  • Xdragonred reply Fuck the EU, It needs to die.
  • Dailenth reply Hello Vidme.
  • RayBrann reply I'll follow you on here , I no longer care too much for YouTube .
  • GorillaFace reply I hope vid.me becomes big. I really want to be done with YouTube. I would if my favorite YouTubers moved
  • MarzieMalfoy reply Vid.me is the after party! :)
  • OzzieArcane reply You could have said "Youtube will die the same death as Myspace"
  • WCAMStudios reply New content creator here from YouTube.
  • [ – ] Acumagnet reply What was that first website he uploads to before he said Vidme?
  • Auceza reply We will never get tired of winning! :-D The Official #MAGA Theme Song! ... https://vid.me/tKaB
  • [ – ] KinTailFox reply You're doing well at this investigation snoop. Thanks for shedding some light on this. I really needed defining factor for leaving YT and this is just that thing. YouTube has basically been ripping off their creators and I can just thank my lucky stars I found vid.me because I do not need this nonsense. I have been on YouTube with my current channel for a short while but I am not new to the platform and seeing everything older creators have been working so hard at and got so excited about has turned into something horrible. I honestly hope vid.me never does monetization. The platform is perfect as it is. Thank you for this, I can't say that enough.
    • [ – ] deocreative parent reply I think monetization is inevitable. Surely its the most reliable way to generate revenue for the site. Unless they want to do paid subscriptions or they take a percentage from the tips.
      • [ – ] KinTailFox parent reply Well, tipping so far hasn't seemed to have done too badly and quite honestly, looking at youtube as a platform, if you take away the monetization aspect it would go back to people working hard on videos to impress people and work hard for the tips. Vidme takes 5 cents per tip, which is how they fund themselves so ithat comes down to it, more people should consider tipping so the platform stays alive in a way I guess
        • deocreative parent reply That would incentivize better quality content more so than YouTube. vidme has a monetization program so it'll be interesting how that'll play out.
  • Chaos reply Good video man
  • Vossi_46_gaming reply Brilliant video dude. Slowly moving my vids over to here and may even stay on here
  • sandia_mesa_mlh reply I think it's interesting and super frustrating at the same time @ComputingForver One thing to note about the Restricted Mode: Although, it is good to restrict content so that kids can't watch, I have an issue because all 3 My Little Hood episodes are gone there, but clips from The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, and Family Guy, whom have similar levels of content, are still accessible in Restricted Mode.
  • Austinsutton reply I appreciate the input and I will be putting forth effort toward the less mainstream web-sites like vidme and minds.com
  • j38ish reply ⭐⭐⭐💪🐸👌⭐⭐⭐
  • MrATAndreiThomas reply I have to agree with you @computingForever I got sick and tired of youtube's Bullshit they screwed us small content creators and to make matters worse, the subscribing glitch began in spring 2012 which I have lost over 10,000 subscribers and then by December 2016 they lied to us content creators saying that they was no subscribing glitch when they was, this is what got me to stop posting videos on YouTube anymore because they have proven to be how manipulative and untrustworthy they really are.
  • LurkingLoaf reply Great vid. Thx
  • Red3rdRock reply Youtube is a disaster. Vidme is the future.
  • roshugaming reply This is one reason why I joined vid.me with how youtube has done this, though I have not stopped on there just slowly thinking I should because if this continues there is no way to grow there anymore but not sure
  • SylvesterSan reply But we the EU are democratic right?
  • TheRobotNewsNetwork reply We need to start with the ISP and work our way up! Hail Meshnet!!
  • Turkey_Tom_YT reply YouTube is not ready to die yet. There are still a few years left at least, the if YouTube can get their ads back (because lots of companies have dropped their ads from YouTube) then YT can get back to its former glory. Its still larger than every other website as of right now, and by alot.
  • dodsonarmsco reply Everything that youtube has said is not monotizable the same advertisers place ads on when the content is on the network news
  • SC87Returns reply I am glad to me on vidme and intent to make it a home, just like I did with minds. I will still be on minds.com :)
  • geordieprepper reply The sooner YouTube dies the better I think at this point. We can then move on and support those video sharing platforms that are upcoming. I'm still on YouTube for now but I'm very actively seeking and signing up to others. I found VidMe first but I'm now active on Steemit and soon to be on Minds.com. I've found the interaction, views and support from VidMe in just two and half months far above and beyond what YouTube has given me in over 4 years!
  • Minsc reply I do find it sad that both YouTube and content creators are saying "fuck you" to each other.
  • Duck-Twacy reply Hope more will follow. Also start using https://duckduckgo.com/ instead of google (as much as possible)
  • ghworg reply You brought me here, & my first follow!
  • FragFap reply I deleted my youtube page today, and pulled my few videos off. I'm a newb so I have lots to learn, but you're an inspiration.
  • BelgianDan reply The one question I'm pondering on is, should I download all my videos and directly upload them to vid.me or just continue link them from my YouTube channel to vid.me since 533 out of 688 videos on my YouTube channel can't be seen in restricted mode
  • Trueisfalsee reply wish vid.me or minds have ads so i can support you because I am just a student without a job
  • MrPC81 reply The transition to this site would be so much easier if other right-thinking content creators were easier to find and subscribe all at once. Make a list with an upcoming video?
  • kitasirnica reply Thulean and you are reason which brought me to vidme
  • Y2JayDoesAsia reply Man the value in this video is just enormous
  • TheLightBad96 reply thanks to your channel and videos I have also decided to go to vid.me
  • adamspeaks reply Love this video's message! I'm making the switch.
  • robdarby reply lets hope this platform renders youtube a dinosaur
  • StellyAndTheMonkey reply Great investigation! A question. Don't you think though that once vid.me or other websites like it grow, they will come for it next to start suing, so these websites will start creating their own ways to protect themselves and give the blame to the creators? I have been watching youtube since 2006 and it was a problem for a while until they found this 'solution' to put all the blame to the creators.
  • MaitreMarkScully reply Say it like it is! Youtube demonetized this vid - https://vid.me/HScP (vidme version) and who knows why??? Watch it please and tell me what is wrong with it?
  • abetterwest reply YT was a good place for me about 3 years ago when I started to pay attention to culture and politics. Before all I used YT for was playing music. However, I'm ready to completely stop supporting Google as a whole. Don't mess with FB, never have, and Twitter is getting the boot from me soon as well. None of those globalist mega corps are doing anything I agree with or feel like supporting.
  • intangir reply hey pal, i joined vid.me based on this video, very rational analysis, i think you are right, i hope it happens quick too because they deserve to lose serious market share being this ignorant of what powers their platform
  • Basileus_Sarkly reply Glad to join you lads on vid.me.
  • 21stCenturyCitizen reply hi, dave. here from YouTube 😂
  • antibs reply I would share this on Twitter had they not locked my account for not being friendly enough - Instead, I'll be sharing it on Minds.com and Gab.ai.
  • billmarion reply I wanted to update my last comment and don't know how to do that on vidme yet so I deleted it. I'm still learning to be a content creator. But due to this nonsense on YouTube, it's demoralizing.
  • Watersurf reply This is exactly I am glad why vidme exists, atleast my videos won't be shut down here. c:
  • ElCidDos reply Well, let's hope this migration is viewed as the massive opportunity it is for vid.me, hopefully they'll resist the urge to grab corporate dollars while censoring content.
  • HeZoKo reply Preach!!!! PREACH!!!! @ComputingForever
  • FinnishNationalist reply Join the #StyxenRevolt - https://www.youtube.com/user/Styxhexenhammer666
  • DrinkYourNailPolish reply Signed up, eventhough I'm just a beauty channel, I'm afraid of being censored by (((YouTube)))
  • Dannik99 reply Yeah, you are my first subscribe on Vidme.
  • HeroinHero reply So decided to finally get an account here. I'm following you on YouTube as well, but as you say, that place is a sinking ship. I'm convinced this place is sure gonna end up the same, in due time, but lets enjoy the ride while it lasts.
  • phipps reply Glad to see so many other users are also ready to shed away mainstream social media companies like the ragged old skin they've become. It's a healthy sign for the overall community. The main ones have gotten too powerful and have forgotten where their content comes from.
  • ParaGirlStories reply So if YouTube gets shut down, what will happen to the videos uploaded here via link? xx
  • Dexter561 reply i myself came over from youtube (very happy here now thanks vidme :3) and im not sure how much of this is true (not calling you out just saying everyone has an opinion and some other opinions conflict) but most of my videos are monetized on youtube but my moderators said when i said i wasnt sure why all stats had gone up but revenue, they said there is no adds on my videos at all so i would definitely agree that something is going wrong with youtube right now as i have seen it myself
  • RBGaming reply wow. i didn't think it was that bad. i knew YouTube was going down hill thats why i created my vidme. but its not just youtube...
  • sgtbrutalisk reply Amazing content, thanks for creating!
  • AnimeReviews reply The fact that I've gotten back almost 10% of my audience here on Vidme, shows that you don't need YouTube to get an audience.
  • AnimeReviews reply The fact that I've gotten back almost 10% of my audience here on Vidme, shows that you don't need YouTube to get an audience.
  • RandomRyan reply So, if YouTube WANTED to get rid of actual harmful content, then why have they not struck down those genuinely troublesome drama channels that make their quick and very dirty bucks from character assassination?
  • Vexode reply Video is toooooooo good.
  • Fredashay reply P.S. I tried to tip you, but they wanted my credit card number. Let me pay through Pay Pal, otherwise nuh-uh!
  • Fredashay reply Ah! I like this a lot better than Minds! Also, please, PLEASE,don't put advertising on the videos here! Eventually, Corporate America will just take over again and impose censorship on people who's videos aren't politically correct, just like You Tube.
  • Nsswede reply Death to corpitcalism
  • ThinkAboutIt reply Dave, Thanks for laying it all out very clearly and thanks for helping me decide to move things over now from YouTube.
  • OfficialGATG reply I just created my VidMe account a few hours ago. It's quite sad that we reached this point but not surprising. For years, myself and others had warned others about this day. It was only when it affected LGBT+ videos and content creators with millions of followers speaking out about this when it became more widespread. Nonetheless, it's great that sites like VidMe are gaining traction now. It may not become a site bigger than YouTube but hopefully we can make it legit competition in some way. With that being said, love your content ComputingForever. Been watching you for awhile. Thank you for the content you've made. Don't let anyone bring you down and keep spreading the word.
  • Liberty_Surveillance reply New to vidme...Will be in rehab for a month or so while I get off the YT dopamine and find the YT creators here.
  • Dudelo reply I'm sorry YouTube but vid me is my new home now:)
  • CuneiformHub reply It appears that Vid.me is really filling up. Now is the time to stake virgin ground folks, now is the time.
  • BraveCounsel reply Fantastic Stuff! Keep Going!
  • BloodMoonGaming reply Youtube was my childhood :(
  • vidizenx reply The cycle continues. If aomeone like PewDePie came here this site would explode.
  • joytimmons reply Thank you so much for sharing this information because that I why I left youtube even while I had two channels with one strike and one channel was suspended for no reason. I also encourage everyone to leave YouTube and join Vid.me.
  • zanardbell reply As long as VidMe is a true open platform and let the audience decide what is acceptable and unacceptable speech, I'll make this my new homebase.
  • mrblacksocks reply i just fell in love with you...total homo
  • mrblacksocks reply i just fell in love with you... total homo
  • NoMoreDogma reply Just got on the app Dave. Happy to see you here as well. Now I have to start uploading to actually have some content on the channel
  • Brother44 reply lol sjw hos are the biggest losers on earth
  • WolfandRaptor reply this is basically why we are on vidme. youtube just isn't what it used to be. you addressed a lot of whats going on pretty accurately. kudos pal
  • ThunderstuckCanuck reply yup when i heard you were heading here i put my channel here too.. good to see ya here brother
  • mygamecrashed reply I agree on so many levels on the topics explained on this video.
  • oneloosenut2000 reply when we got google+, that was same day in china there was a media summit, google was there and wanted back into china. so google agreed to start meeting chinas demands in steps. and we are just getting closer to it. you can not speak the truth about government in china because you must first have permission to do so, and that wont happen, and you go to jail if you do, thats why yahoo had to pull out of china, many of its chinese users was rounded up and killed and yahoo handed the government the user list. yahoo stock holders couldnt stand the thought of making money at the cost of human lives, i was in china for this. it was big news then, and mark of facebook also agreed but he created different facebook web sites, there is a facebook hong kong for instance, and it blocks you from crossing over to the US facebook or free world FB.
  • blueham reply I know! They've begun demonetising David Firth's videos (creator of Salad Fingers among many other animations). He wants to move his videos and I suggested that he moves them here!
  • HouseMusicINC reply This video was great! Due this recent Youtube things, I lost 2 of my channels with no reason! I'm here now to start again :)
  • MrATAndreiThomas reply The corporate medias wants to destroy our invisibility of existence on YouTube so they can have the spotlight will they continue to keep us in the dark, this is wrong, I'm glad vidme came in 2014 and I been on vidme on the same year they created their website, youtube is now the thing of the past it's officially dead.
  • Overcome reply This is the truth, I could not agree more
  • Makethewaystr8 reply Now we need a alternative to Facebook
  • blxckbird reply youtube just got too big. like it's *the* medium everyone is using now, which is why they can't keep it up the way it used to be anymore. it's just not 2008 anymore and i don't think there is any way that youtube - as it is now - could save itself from this.
  • tomatohentai-trashcan reply Wojcicki is pronounced somewhat like "voy-chee-tskee" I believe.
  • CLOWNBIG reply This is going to take some getting used to, but so far so good.
  • Black_Domestic_Discipline reply This is so sad. I'm over youtube for real
  • MFKraven reply saw you on PJW, good stuff man. Glad to see you bring a ton of new people to Vidme. I'm just waiting for the media to deem this site an "Alt-Right" haven lol
  • BuddyRojek74 reply I recognise this man's voice. I think I.follow.him on youtube. see my youtube video"buddy rojek"
  • JetFrost reply Censorship is the tool of those who have the need to hide actualities from themselves and from others-Charles Bukowski
  • s1lverFoX reply Just joined up on vidme, as a content creator youtube crossed the line for the last time. This is the first video I watched on vidme.
  • KMDES reply This reminds me how during the election "How do I vote for Donald Trump" would not autocomplete on Google and "How do I vote for Hillary Clinton" would not autocomplete on Bing. But the opposites would!
  • TimeCop reply Followed ya over here from yt dave. Liking the site already. Hope more and more come over here.
  • Snarly55 reply The real web is the deep web and I wonder how long these slimes crooked idiots get into that. This is getting out of control and the fact they are to trying to out Trump so hard is a sign there is a darker theme behind all this.
  • AnneCourtois1 reply I am not sure YT will be killed by our moving to tis plateforme. YT is changing their target markets, as Dave was saying. They just want to follow the 'money' which is not on Cable TV anymore, or soon will not be. The advertisers just want to be where the eyeballs are. To please those guys, than, they put up rules than resembles the decisions of execs at major broadcasters or CableTV outlets. So yeah...the way to go would have to work on a solid Patreon portfolio and shy away from a video-plateforme-monetization. This way, your supporters, no matter who they are, won't be afraid to be associated with your video. Time will tell.
  • hiposho reply as soon as VIDME gets popular it will be bought up by the same people running youtube in the ground
  • Ricalloo reply This is sad. Twitter is shadow banning, using blue check mark bots to congest replies. Now YouTube is censoring people. I hope Vid.me and Gab.ai can succeed to replace them.
  • tyjanium727 reply What is the URL to this "mines.com" can't seem to find it.
  • [ – ] tyjanium727 reply What is the URL to mines.com
  • RedPillMember reply I wish vid.me worked for me, but sadly half the videos randomly show as a black screen. The audio plays but no video. Probably because I'm using Firefox. Chrome works, but I'm sticking with Firefox for security and privacy. So back to YouTube for me.
  • plupwnium reply Thanks for all the fish-tube.
  • TheGnomeGnows reply Goodbye Youtube. I'll miss all the cat videos.
  • Tullibardine reply This video is pure propaganda but at least I get to leave my opinion on it.
  • c_arnold03 reply I guess it's a good thing I decided to transition off of google this year, huh?
  • crepulus reply This is the famous jewish economic boycott. The big corporate voices behind this are famous jewish businessmen. That means we are about 15-20 yrs away from one of their big extermination events. Will it be you?
  • Wolfinspire reply Glade I found this site. People still use YouTube besides its number one and they pay people unlike places such as vidme.
  • infiglo reply Wow, I actually found a YouTube-like site that has quite a few users and videos...
  • Gondor reply This is so fucked up but it explains all the censorship thats been happening ever since the election.
  • Babbleplay reply I don't usually subscribe/follow after watching just one video from a creator, but... I can already tell I want to hear what you have to say in future.
  • oldnotweak reply how can i run two videos in separate tabs or windows? it keeps pausing them whenever i click another video.
  • oldnotweak reply im glad we have an alternative to shittube... i mean youtube.
  • 6Lurk6Moar6 reply RIP JewTube you will not be missed. Vid.Me is 1488x better
  • ImmaLittlePip reply Remember first it was AVGN who was first attacked by msm for not wanting to watch GB 2016 We should of seen the signs there
  • Pedrolopes reply I think vid.me has a few glitches that needs to work on, for example the videos stop half-way through even when the Internet is fine.
  • Leitis reply So you're telling me a giant corporate media decided to collude with other giant media corporations. It's like they're all owned by this special group that grants preferential treatment to itself. In other news pol was right again
  • Tinofsnakes reply Vid.me is a great platform I actually prefer it, once everybody has moved their content it will be better than 'Them Tube'
  • Stamasian reply This was a very eye opening video. I left youtube last year, mostly because of the YouTube Heroes bs, and the fact that I am an animator, who cannot make a new video every hour. Thank you for the info.
  • JaliqWright reply Visit my stream!!
  • Stamasian reply YouTube is controlled by the Social Justice Warriors now.
  • TruthSeeker29666 reply youtube is horrible. I am glad I came over to vidme
  • Machette_Freddy reply If pewdiepie had Gawkered the wsj it may have shut this down in it's tracks, if pewdiepie with his reach and $$ does nothing the message sent was "full steam ahead" because there were no repercussions for wsj.. and here we are..
  • pgunnels reply Independent media are being demonetized. Enough. I'm running for Congress. Please share: https://youtu.be/8KYW578hp2k
  • Cloporaxtical reply Just joined. I hope this new(?) service grows and stays impartial.
  • PhysicalGraffiti reply Omg, I rarely watch Dr Oz, but the other day they were talking about "fake news"..Being the leftist network they are, being Oz himself is a leftist, I knew it would be skewed. Sure enough, his guest has a satirical channel, thus purposely publishes fake stories. Oz was obviously alluding that alt right channels are the fake ones. It was so obvious, especially when he said we needed to go to snopes and/or fact check for the truth, LOL! Talk about FAKE news!
  • ArrowValley reply A lot of the channels I enjoy are moving to Vidme. About time YouTube had a true rival and this might be it.
  • Snarly55 reply Sorry about my bad spelling but I am upset, I like it here but to see Youtube become a SJW crap site is sad.
  • Snarly55 reply I also agree and I been saying this for year but no one ever listens to a nobody like as I mean nothing. People are idiots and that is the bottom line.
  • Snarly55 reply I love you my man. I agree I see as a new content creator they pulled a fast one on me as I did an experiment and made... well lets say I lost adds on all but one of my video.
  • Billy-Hard-Core777 reply Good man, I am doing likewise, Youtube is wrecked beyond help now....
  • ThatsEon reply I hope the future is bright here and doesn't have the same fate as YT
  • Crashmagnet reply Restricted mode says it all, Youtube is done as a free thinking site, it's toast.
  • Crashmagnet reply Google and the Government are hand and hand, they got it so big that we all use it, now they can Censor us.
  • Crashmagnet reply After Google took over youtube they immediately started changing the site in a negative way, they slowly destroyed the site on purpose, I knew it would reach this point.
  • Crockie reply Ive followed you over from youtube ( different nic ) and I have to say I'm impressed with vidme I can speak here can't their like to many others I hope youtube sinks like the turd it's become I can't believe they've done this
  • susette reply Thank you for your determination and service
  • KbBackyardGuitar reply Fantastic Cullen
  • VIPtronic reply YouTube worked for the little guy, but it was never intended for the little guy. It didn't turn a profit until AdSense and it didn't become solvent until the corporations came along. YouTube was planned from the start as a corporate media and advertising platform.
  • [ – ] MyCrazyCockatoo reply Saw you on PJW's YT Channel. Thank you for sharing this site & Mind.Com. My husband and I have been looking for YT/FB alternatives. So nice that something better is growing up here...
  • snnug reply I think it may be just me, but your video keeps coming up black. I can't even see the buffer bar. It works for other videos and sometimes it doesn't... Site seems like it could still use some polish.
  • LibertarianLesbian reply I'm really glad this site exists. While planning out my podcast, I knew I wanted video to be involved. After seeing what's going on over there, I knew I had to branch out. But after watching your video and listening to what other YouTubers have to say, I'll probably post most or all of my content here and on other free speech platforms. I may just keep it to intros and 10 min videos on YT if I have to.
  • CircleLine69 reply I just signed up here after seeing Dave on Paul Joseph Watson video on YT. Hopefully this will stay away from the censorship crap and give us somewhere good to use when YT goes down the plug
  • CircleLine69 reply I've been following Dave on youtube for some time, and a little earlier today he was on a video with Paul Joseph Watson. He mentioned vid.me as an alternative, so here I am. Hopefully this site will get big enough and stay away from the censorship bullcrap so that when YT as we know it goes down the toilet, we will have a ready made platform to switch to.
  • Juansolo457 reply Never heard of you but really liking your vid! Stupid youtube has started throttling my vids, just watching with a 1G down and up and all the videos I watch, (Molynuex, Sargon, Crowder etc.) are all buckling!!! Never happened before this is insane freaking sell outs!
  • LesPaul2017 reply This is a nice website. Smells good, too.
  • RandomEd787 reply We are the resistance! We will win! Keep Fighting!
  • IAmShawn reply I watched this on YouTube to start, it was how I learned of this site. Thank you!
  • newgraves reply I'm going to donate because I love your content but DAMN you own an apple?? :P
  • jsuwak reply Moving all my subscriptions over here and dropping Youtube Red and will drop entirely. Fuck them.
  • Johns_Bucking reply Content won't play
  • Marie-Antoinette reply I'm supporting you: Dave Cullen and PJW and InfoWars and President Trump and Le Pen.
  • McLuhansCoolMedia reply Fight until the fight is done.
  • RedDaikini reply How long do you reckon it will be before we're talking about YouTube in the past tense the way we do A.I.M., AltaVista, etc?
  • bunnerabb reply Allegiance is the last viable currency, and the people with the billions are spending their worthless IOUs as fast as they can to get you to put their patch on you sleeve. This is one of the oldest propaganda methodologies in history, as een a cursory glimpse at any given history boo will reveal.
  • bunnerabb reply Allegiance is the last viable currency, and they people with the billions are spending it as fast as they can to get you to sew their patch on your sleeve. This has been going on for eons. Crac a history boo and a tapestry of allegiance propaganda and hard coin will emerge.
  • Tujev reply Praise KeK
  • girlreadingbooks reply I am STOKED to be here! Been trying to find an outlet that doesn't seem to have that weird MSM plastic polish, I think I've arrived :)
  • MarzieMalfoy reply Animal Farm... that's where YouTube is going.
  • WebNoob reply lol, nope. I'm subscribed to like 50 channels there.
  • Wulfseal reply Youtube to become Myspace 2.0. Google just want the $$$ now.
  • Thisisbadjuju reply I hope more content creators make the move. That's pretty much what keeps me using YouTube still.
  • Explicit_Tech reply We will have the last laugh!
  • Canadian_Consumer reply Went over YouTube nonsense today as well. This is my primary platform too. Nice video though CF, honest and informative. And to all the new people coming over here, welcome! Vidme has a lot of potential, and it's growing :)
  • JackParsons reply Let the mass exodus begin.
  • Mr_Ripman reply These are exactly the thoughts that are running through my head. I hate that Youtube is becoming the very thing it was an alternate to, the mainstream, corporate, filtering, anti-free speech media.
  • a1a2ssx211 reply a1a2ssx211..?سنابshouldget
  • julius_panimdim reply extremely informative! Thank you
  • Retro_Review reply YouTube is the SJW of video sharing websites. This is why I prefer Vid.me and barely got here.
  • wocassity reply Thanks Dave!
  • Xavier_Bit reply I tried to sign up on gab.ai and got number 484.000 in line.... Are they fucking kidding me???
  • Christopher_Moonlight reply Just signed up for Vidme because of this video. Thanks.
  • Kalak reply Always good to know whom you're not allowed to criticize.
  • [ – ] tobywangaming reply As someone getting into the content creation world just a few months ago, this is a very weird time. I feel like a couple years ago it would be an easy answer. "put things on youtube" but now im finding myself trying to gain a following while fighting a feeling of worry. I made a vid.me originally as an "extra" site to post, but its starting to look like a better bet than youtube. Well see what the future holds! :)
    • deocreative parent reply We live in interesting times. New and emerging sites like vid.me present an opportunity where we're all, more or less, on even ground.
  • JakeMapping reply YouTube is going down in fire if it continues like this.
  • DeadlyDeathAngel reply Think i might like it here! :D
  • resurrectionjose reply I'll delete this afterward once I get a reply. After poking around quite a bit I still have yet to see any info. on how one re-edit their comment(s). Anyone know where exactly to go for that? It's probably staring me in the face too, but I just don't see it. :)
  • g0bkF7Ss reply Hey there! Got another guy over here from the tubes. I'm getting a black screen on the videos on here though! But ill get it going super quick!
  • chaseisgame reply Agreed. But I'm loving my experience here on Vidme
  • resurrectionjose reply First reply ... 'Computer Forever' brought me here. Well, not literally but you get the point. :)
  • blazedu reply thanks dave for convincing me to sign up to minds and vid.me. I'll be watching all your videos from here from now on. Never created an youtube account, no facebook or twitter either. Finally i can comment on matters that concern me and everyone else without fear of cencorship. Keep on fighting the good fight.
  • JadeJicama reply I could swear I read somewhere that YouTube was founded because the creators couldn't find any good videos of the Janet Jackson half time debacle... couldn't source that claim, but it's a snippet of info that's stuck in my head... In other news, the upvotes notifier apparently updates in real time, which is nice.
  • LMarucha reply I wish it was easier to embed videos from vidme onto other websites. It works on some videos but not all of them.
Download the Vidme app!
