Evade looking like a complete tool in the presence of the ultimate Sci-Fi geek at the premier of Star Wars - The Last Jedi! Here are a few useful facts about the Lightsaber to challenge the knowledge of even the geekiest of Star Wars Nerds... what it can do, when was it created, how strong is it, what is the reality of the Lightsaber, How do they work? etc. With the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi coming to the cinema, we are reminded of the traditional Jedi Weapon - the Lightsaber. To many this is just a fancy sword which glows in the dark but to the purest, this is the finest weapon in all of cinema. PS. If you want as close to a real Lightsaber as possible, one which won't kill you, check out Quick facts... 1. The first Lightsaber was constructed 25,000 years before the birth of Anakin Skywalker. 2. Early Lightsabers were called ArchaicSabers (or ProtoSabers).... they required hip or backback mounted powerplants. 3. Early Lightsabers used synthetic crystals to focus the plasma blades. Naturally occurring crystals were discovered on Ilum and Kyber, these natural crystals were protected by the Jedi. 4. The Sith had to produce their own synthetic crystals, or gather crystals from the sabers of fallen Jedi. In both cases, the blade would become red. In the later case, the Sith would charge the crystal with Dark energy after being exposed to Light Energy... thus forcing the crystal to "bleed". ►SUBSCRIBE to our channel for more videos: ►FOLLOW us on TWITTER: TopTube : Andy (Narrator) : ►FOLLOW us on FACEBOOK Other TopTube Entertainment Videos you may enjoy...
