  • GameSharks reply On negative 4, I was actually surprised to find out that Toby has no actual coding experience. He learnt on the fly as he made Undertale. That honestly makes him all the more impressive to me, but that could explain the crashes as well (though it never happened for me)
  • AGAaron reply I think the attack sequences were just about right in amount of time and could actually afford to be harder. Yeah, the game crashed for me too, but to suggest that he should have made his own engine... well that's what Daisuke Amaya did and it took it many more years to complete Cave Story for that reason, so if the worst happened is 4 crashes for you, that's honestly probably for the best. He's not a programmer & you have to be a pretty well rounded one to make a game engine, so the game may have taken so much longer it wouldn't exist at all.
  • JoYoshi reply Cancerous Fanfom.
  • LENN0Z reply I think both positives and negatives are pretty obvious in Undertale.
  • Fighting_Zenith reply I like to mention that Toby Fox used to be a ROMhacker. As for the game itself, it looks like fun, but I don't want to have to deal with Steam's bullshit.
