Welcome to the ‘Hungry’ series where we taste first and ask questions later. This series was created so we can share our food adventures with other food lovers. We hope this video makes your mouth water and your stomach hungry! In this episode we explore Japan and talk passionately about some of the food we had during our visit. Lesli and I were lucky to have the opportunity to stay for 3 weeks and got to try familiar food items like ramen and sushi but also some new items like beef cutlet and kushikatsu. Although we spent a good three weeks indulging in all sorts of food - we feel like we only scratched the surface. The people of Japan take great pride in providing high quality delicious food. Our video goes over a few of our favourite dishes that we tried BUT is not a complete list. We are excited to say that we will be travelling to Japan again in September to eat more delicious food so make sure to subscribe! Things to look out for in the video: -How to unwrap onigiri -Deep fried steak?! (Gyukatsu) -Ramen -Deep fried skewers?! (Kushikatsu) -Conveyer Belt Sushi -Bouncy Cheesecake -Shaved ice-cream Places we visited in the video: 1. Beef Cutlet Rest in Osaka: Gyukatsu-no-Takeru (3-8-26 Nippombashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka 556-0005, Osaka Prefecture +81 6-6635-2929) 2. Beef Cutlet Rest in Tokyo: Gyukatsu Motomura (Japan, 〒160-0022 Tokyo, 新宿区Shinjuku, 3−32−2) 3. Conveyer Belt Sushi Rest: Uobei Sushi (Japan, 〒150-0043 Tokyo, Shibuya, Dogenzaka, 2 Chome−29−11) 4. Kushikatsu Rest: Kuskikatsu Daruma ShinsekaiSouhonten (Japan, 〒556-0002 Osaka Prefecture, Osaka, Naniwa Ward, Ebisuhigashi, 2 Chome−3−9) 5. Uncle Rikuro’s Bouncy Cheesecake 6. Shaved Ice Cafe: Yukinohana-cafe (Japan, 〒150-0001 Tokyo, Shibuya, 神宮前1丁目15番4号 バルビゾン76号館1階) 7. Ippudo Ramen (one of the ramen chains that we really enjoyed. They are located all over Japan. We found that there was not too many places with spicy food. However, their spicy ramen is to die for. You can choose from 5 diff. levels. Level 4 and 5 were killers! If you have any other food recommendations or places to eat, make sure to put it in the comment section. ———MORE VIDEOS——— Lost in Osaka (Osaka Vlog 2017) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1y4V6EMZlE SUBSCRIBE to our channel: http://bit.ly/2qg2oqT INSTAGRAM: Hers: http://instagram.com/demonxpuff His: http://instagram.com/korean_barbaque Thank you for watching!
