Today I have sort of a life hack which will help you figure out your skill-sets, interests, passions. It will help you figure out the job you should take or career you should go into. It will help you figure out the niche you should get into as an affiliate or online marketer. It could also help those of you looking to get into ecommerce figure out what product you should sell.
The best part is you can do this in under 30 seconds, and all it requires is asking yourself one question.
This is a very simple solution to some very difficult to answer questions which are what should I do with my life? What type of business should I start? What should I do as a career?
What this strategy does is cuts out our perception of what you think your good at, and shows you what other people think your good at.
You may think your good at cooking, but if nobody likes the food you cook, then you probably won't make money doing that. HOwever if people are always asking you to work on their car, that means that other people value your skills in that area and it's probably something you should get into.
Mark Cuban has an interesting quote about not following your passion. He says it's bad advice. While I dont necessarily think that's always true, I do agree with his sentiment that if your good at something, even if it's not the thing you enjoy most in the world, you will enjoy it and you will be good at it.
I'd love to hear from you guys. What's your thing that people ask you about the most? And... how could you turn that into a way to make money.
I'll leave you guys with another interesting quote. Whatever people ask you about the most, is probably something you would be able to charge for.
