  • [ – ] BrownyGamingTime reply I understand what you are saying with diversity but don't think it is right to say gaming channel's don't make high quality content. I think you can have high and low quality videos for all sectors whether it be music, gaming, political, etc.
    • [ – ] Aeridi parent reply this is your stereotypical egotistical moron, talking for the sake of getting his ideas out whether or not they make sense or match up with reality
      • [ – ] Florella parent reply I don't think it was @ForgottenRoots 's intention to discredit popular media. He actually says "Don't get me wrong, though! I have nothing against creators who create comedy or gaming related videos."
        • [ – ] Aeridi parent reply Okay kids, let's break this one down logically..... "Don't get me wrong, though! I have nothing against creators who create comedy or gaming related videos." - That is quite literally a contradiction. "Let's Promote High Quality Content on Vid.Me" - Clearly states tribalic content should stand superior over gamer's with relatively better content. Again, the creator of this video has a preference and thinks it should be the preference of everyone else. The gamers on vid.me have significantly higher views and product what they can afford. This whole, "don't get me wrong" thing is obnoxious and selfish. As if you are the keyholder of standards in this Vid.me community. And for the record.. I don't think you fully understand the meaning of "Tribalism". It applies in every day society, so these "roots" are not really forgotten, but have grown much farther and much stronger. Look at how many sports teams exist, and the length fans go to, to express their loyalty to the team that repr...moreesents their "Tribe"....... Anyone else want some??? Lol
          • [ – ] Florella parent reply Would you prefer he kept his opinions and suggestions to himself? I'd prefer he spoke up, personally. No matter if I agree or disagree, I'd like to hear anyone's opinion. Logic is nothing without nuance and context. "Let's promote high quality content!" does not imply no high quality content exists, even abstractly. When you say "don't get me wrong" is obnoxious and selfish, that's an entirely emotional argument. 's Fine to have your emotions, but you know.. since you started out saying you wanted to break it down logically.
            • [ – ] Aeridi parent reply I did break it down logically. I finished it off with my opinion however unfortunately vid.me does not show test in its original broken down form so it all stuck together creating no flow of context... The point is this vodeo contradicts itself. And the idea of tribalism isn't fully presented.. I love how every time someone comes forward to point something out that doesnt align with what is innitially being said, everyone gets in defensive mode. To be honest, the number truly show that the gamer's make quality content therefore he should say, "lets make Tribalism content with better quality"... since, that is the point of his video as you stated, right?
              • [ – ] Florella parent reply You're right about the comment section losing its formatting being obnoxious though, it makes it very difficult to see where one point ends and another begins. I've never once mentioned "tribalism," and I'm unsure why you keep bringing it up. Vid.Me is the platform users reading this comment section use, therefor any uploaded content will be uploaded to Vid.Me. You could argue that mentioning vid.me in the title is tribalistic, but considering one of the selling points for vid.me is not being youtube that is to be expected, and more importantly entirely dismissable, given the context. Furthermore, I don't see the contradiction in pre-emptively emphasizing a lack of hostile intent.
                • [ – ] Aeridi parent reply You are arguing with me, on a video, on vid.me, that is catered to Tribalism and Paganism......
                  • [ – ] Florella parent reply Discussing, sure. I'd not call it an argument, I'm not upset at all. It seems to me that he would like to encourage people to produce videos on a wider range of topics and proceeds to make suggestions for channels he likes. Isn't that fine? I'm not into Tribalism or Paganism at all, being a rather unspiritual sort, so it's not like I have any affinity with the content he's suggesting.
                    • [ – ] Aeridi parent reply Also, what I would like to question here is, with a name like "Forgotten Roots", and the ideas that we should basically relax on the media, games, electronics, any form of modern entertainment, why would we want to regress backwards? Modern technology is advancing more and more, even though this is just the beginning and we as humans are not very advanced at all. But why, why would we want to go backwards?
                      • [ – ] Florella parent reply Then perhaps I lack context. This is the first of his videos I've seen, so I was commenting exclusively on this one video. Of course, it's possible that - given the right context - I'd agree with you; there's one thing I will probably always feel the same about though: he's not obligated to make anything, just as he couldn't obligate anyone else. While I'd not attribute much value to his name or anyone else's, obviously regression is not the way forward -- by definition, it's the opposite. I guess what I hope to communicate most right now is that I think it's unfair to judge a single video by the contents of the entire channel, or their personality, or their preferences; I'd miss out on a lot of things if I consistently did that.
                    • Aeridi parent reply Well, I do have to disagree again. Please refer to my first comment, Possibly on his other video stating that he is suggesting others exceed his expectations of creating content he is fully capable of creating on his own. Leading by example. His video does not really provide any content except stating what he is suggesting be created.
  • Channel_Seviyn reply I have a comedy channel here, I have a horror narration channel here and on YT, and I love gaming. I'm cool with it all honestly. I love your videos because they let me think a little deeper than plots, storylines, or just flatout humor. You have inspired me a bit to maybe throw on some serious vlogs discussing topics and the like on Channel_Seviyn at some point. Keep up the good work, man. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.
  • Xexor reply TBH, I think there will always be a lot of gamers on any platform like YT or Vid.me, unless they expressly prohibit it. Gaming is just too big in the world today. That said, I 100% agree that a variety of content is important, and I really hope a lot of others migrate across as well.
  • wolfalexzemla reply it is very important that we stop using yt and fb. every session gives them more revenue to build a digital tyranny. I also don't like giving them my address and phone.
  • Sectual reply Beautiful candles, I'm mesmerized. VidMe already has some pretty damn quality content as far as I have seen. Lots of unique stuff that is just buried, for example, on other sites like YouTube these days... lots of impressive stuff that you'd never find because it's drowning in an ocean of unoriginal, banal garbage. So VidMe is already off to an excellent start. Very exciting.
  • [ – ] ThuleanPerspective reply Thanks. Notice how VidMe always removed my vidoes from the Trending page though, if they are "politically incorrect". So we are obviously not better off here than on YouTube. Same censor-shit, different wrapping.
    • ForgottenRoots parent reply So why the hell did they approve your account verification, even if they could check what you upload on YouTube? And most of your videos are not even slightly politically incorrect. They obviously don't want to be associated with "controversial" people. I guess you have to start playing computer games...
  • [ – ] wolfalexzemla reply I agree I was turned off by the APPEARANCE of gaming/anime at first but have since found the political category has a lot of good content.
  • jarredjackson reply Yes, Yes.. Of course. What he said.... And If you just want to get your face ripped clean off, and have your head smashed in by the heaviest guitar riffs on VidMe... Simply subscribe to THIS channel.
  • MicMule reply i get what you mean with the gaming channels and stuff (im a part of that community) one thing i will say to all gaming channels learn how to edit its boring when your looking for clips for a video you may have 2 hours of content to go through and make a 15 minute video when you actually start editing those 15 minutes its really fun (when i say editing i dont just mean funny moments or funtage actually add sound files clips from other places and stuff) it does take time but quality over quantity matters
  • Lukhurd reply The European nationalist channels seem to be growing especially fast on Vidme, probably because Styx and Varg moved here. I have to agree, this platform has so much potential, so it should be very diverse in terms of content. I'd love to see channels about travels within Europe (and even other places in the world, why not). I think it would be a great addition to the European nationalist community.
  • [ – ] Sigrdrifa reply It's hard to make the full switch from youtube to vidme because of what you said. There isn't a big variation in channels here yet. I think it will get better as the site ages - after all, youtube has an insane amount of content ranging from documentaries to news channels to ..anything.
  • SJWsAttack reply Wow great Channel man :D
  • demonkiller99 reply Youtube should be terminated
  • OfficialGATG reply Just dropped by on your channel and I completely agree. As a Youtuber that's tired of Youtube's bullshit, I wanna see another site become legitimate competition against Youtube. Sure, VidMe might not become the world's biggest site against Youtube but with the rate Youtube is going, it'll soon be more about MSM than it will be about alternative entertainment. It'll go the way with MySpace if they keep this up. Even then, it's good to have competition so that you can always find ways to improve while remaining humble.
  • ElCidDos reply Well, quality comes at a cost. You can't produce quality content for free unless you're rich and don't need money. Vid.me will have to solve that problem before they become real contenders to Youtube. Corporations have already proven they won't fund anything that doesn't meet the SJW stamp of approval, so the same exact thing would happen here in a few years.
  • okamiviking reply Slowly people will come here especially after you tube's most recent fuckup
  • WhiteExperience reply I did not know that all these people were here, thank you.
  • DavidDoel reply Agreed! That's also what I'm trying to do on my channel - with a focus on politics, news, and philosophy. I think Vidme is a great platform, and really it will just take time to build up a base of content in more areas.
  • BalrogsAndBagginses reply Excellent video and I share your views. Thank you for the recommend. :-)
  • WolfyAU82 reply Cheers for the recommendations. There are reasons why I never got involved with political and / or ideological discussions on Youtube and quite hesitant to do so here. However, I do enjoy open and hearty discussions. I will say, the community here is a lot more accepting and I love that.
  • Nsswede reply Finish nationalist are great content creater
  • ArchaicRealms reply I didn't know that Thulean Perspective had table-top rpg content, thank you for mentioning this!
  • 1chriscuthbertson reply I dont do gaming so ile follow you !
  • SurviveTheJive reply Thanks for the shoutout karol
  • Pasticheofskin reply I hope I'm included in that sentiment
  • sphamedia reply good to see someone talk about channels they like, im glad this blew up, youd never see this on youtube xD thank you for the recommendations, im new to vid me so it helps alot
  • Velo_a_Montreal reply Agreed. I'll do my best to contribute to the greater diversity of topics here, although part-time.
  • Harrenhal reply I remember when YouTube had great content before Google bought it out. I'd love to see that here.
  • RayCarson1 reply just followed you.
  • Gorkey reply Well Im a gaming channel but good quality
  • Aeeso reply Hi, to be honest i am still fairly new to creating videos and like a lot of people, totally self taught at making videos editing images and audio , I have a extremely low budget and use near enough free versions of everything - I bought a pro video editing licence , for my video editor for around $20 but that is it in around the 3 months since i decided to try and learn how to edit media. I have made a few different types of video so far - ranging from news and real life situations to gaming - comedy - music - adult videos - art - everything really, under a few profiles on a lot of different sites , just a lot of random stuff so far, still kind of finding my feet, started learning late but better late than never. A lot of it is "crap" to be honest and just practice and enjoyment of making them more than anything. I would like to see more content here on vid me regarding a whole range of subjects and see more creators use this particular platform. I will check those other channels...more out you mentioned as i also enjoy watching a "diverse" range of materials but personally i also like watching "entertainment" videos and gaming. In the meantime i will also likely keep uploading varied random "crap" videos, that will probably not be to most peoples taste.
  • HyperboreanRenaissance reply Interesting points, and I agree for the most part. What we should be speaking on should not be solely Panem at Circem, games and other less-significant things. I myself joined VidMe for the social/psycho-religious/ and cultural topics. I like your channel this far.
  • Dapolite reply The thing is , still a lot of young people are not really interested in politics let alone philosophy and history channels. In order to grow Vid.me , we first need to get the ordinary users on this site , not only those that are already red-pilled, otherwise we would only preach to the choir.
  • ProjectKillJoy reply lol wtf is this candle light xD
  • MicMule reply i know i already left a comment but this is to your video production if the candles are to light up your face put them either side of the camera instead of in front or if you feel like you can afford it a ring light
  • [ – ] Aeridi reply You keep responding but your comments aren't visible
  • [ – ] Aeridi reply Are you an inventor of vid.me?
  • ApolloUSA reply I think people are getting tired of YT policies and vidme is an alternative. Many don't even know this exists and there are other platforms also. I am watching people already making the transition, posting their video on many platforms. You Tube is dying a slow death and that is where these new platforms will take off.
  • InteractiveSystem reply Well, my channel is about a philosophical analysis of video games and the gaming community, and how this is affecting and destroying us. I want people to understand video games so they can stop ruining their lives, as this is a problem afecting mainly inteligent young males who live in a civilizated enviroment. I don't make content about entertaiment but about the understanding of civilization though video game phenomena.
  • zoma43 reply haha what the fuck is this
  • Nsswede reply Make metal song now your best seting
  • Nsswede reply Heil vidme
  • Restless-Researcher reply This video now trending! (on place 3 of the homepage!)
  • DeathTheGrimComedian reply If you're interested in offensive jokes and dark humor, how about giving my vids a go?
  • SouthBayRick reply VidMe has a lot of work to do if it's wants to win over YouTube users. The search menu is horrible and the site is always buffering. It would be nice to to get this site up to speed. It has a lot of potential and they should make a major push NOW. YouTube is going downhill fast,
  • AmateurBellyDance reply Nice candles, so romantic.
  • CruxRiajuu reply I like games - animation - voice actors - animators -fashion design etc. I go on a platform to pass the time - The most common thing people can use to relate and relay information of what they like is on the internet because it's where they go to relax away from that thing or because of that thing. If you don't have many other hobbies - odds are you game. So it makes sense there would be a lot of gaming material on the net.
  • HorrorsFreaksAndCreeps reply Non-gaming channels are retarded. Take it from me.
