  • [ – ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply You did get away from one of the monsters, so it's possible. The flashback while out was interesting. I suppose it was too much to hope that the elevator would work right.
    • [ – ] MysticSword parent reply Yes, it looks like I was able to juke around the monster, but I still took a hit doing it, which made Simon woozy and wobbly. :P Really, the monsters in this game are quite scary, and they seem to be getting more difficult as the game progresses! Indeed, the flashback was interesting. I'm thinking that when the A.I. takes over people, that it tries to put them in a happy / delusional state or sleep, in which they are in a "happy" setting, so they won't resist. Where Simon's mind is technically a brain-scan on a computer chip stuck in a robotic-suit (though apparently with a human body in the suit), I guess he was lucky to be able to break free of the A.I.'s illusion, and being back in his apartment also didn't make sense to him. Yes, when I finally got into the elevator, the doors closed and it started moving, I breathed a sigh of relief. However, part of me was already expecting something to go wrong. And, of course it did. It seems to always be "out of the frying pan and into t...morehe fire" with this game. It's quite immersive though and certainly keeps me on the edge of my seat most times. I'm enjoying my play-through of it. Ok, I'll try to get another episode up soon. Thanks for your continued interest and support. Cheers! :)
