6-year-old John Durant is a weightlifting kid who loves to work out. After his father encouraged him to start learning proper form at age 4, John moved on to squats, cleans and snatches with a real bar and weights. With a PR of 42 pounds and two sessions weekly in the weight room, John gets stronger and stronger, even as his training timeline leaves some people wondering: how young is too young to start lifting weights?
