  • [ – ] AmandaFood reply Shadow <3 perfect timing coming in love her. Love this video, love you <3 1 person ruins it (meds) that sucks grr. Your channel we will follow you, whatever you do when you do it.
  • [ – ] BrianAiya reply I would love to have a dog like Shadow, she is amazing. I really like these real talk vids. i don't know much about kidney stones, don't they remove it 1 time and it's done? I can't imagine the pain. Lol, i have many grey hair already xD don't worry, they say grey hair shows that you are wise ;P
    • MarzieMalfoy parent reply I'm excited to get grey hair tbh... in our family we look like anime characters with it lol They can only surgically take them out if they get 5mm or bigger. Until then, I just have to wait for them to pass with some pain management. Shadow is amazing! I can't lose her, I just can't. Sorry, I'm really worried about that.
  • [ – ] rebeledgeentertainment reply Hopefully they figure everything out with your medication. I always worry about blood pressure medication because I normally have a slower heart rate than usual. Can't wait to hear some Irish drinking songs. Great video and you should do more real talk videos.
    • MarzieMalfoy parent reply Thank you! I think I will. You've really been my inspiration to do this tbh and I can see why. It lets off a lot of steam and really does help. Thank you so much! <3
  • [ – ] HeroicVillain reply Aw, man. Whatever happens, you've got us too.
  • [ – ] theoldsparrow reply Through the difficult anniversaries take your time with it and feel what you need to. Doing the opposite will just bottle things up. Shadow is super precious. You're a good caretaker so don't worry about losing her. I hope the meds thing sorts itself out. I got my first gray hair at seventeen. Now that I'm almost twice that age if I see a new gray hair it doesn't even phase me.
  • [ – ] MaitreMarkScully reply I am glad you feel better ;)
    • [ – ] MarzieMalfoy parent reply Thank you so much!! I'm so sorry I didn't see this til now. I haven't been as attentive as I usually am.
      • [ – ] MaitreMarkScully parent reply no problem, there is so much chat here - it is confusing! But good to see you have interested so many people.
        • MarzieMalfoy parent reply I was confused at first too.. I just rewatched the video and realized there are somethings I forgot I said. I think the meds kicked in a lot earlier than I thought lol
  • [ – ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply Thanks for checking in with us, Marzie! I always enjoy when you give it to us straight up. Life is messy. When I see you up there on my big screen I'm thinking how much I feel I really relate to you. Not because I've walked in your shoes, but because I have spent so much of my life in pain. Emotional mostly, but it translates into the physical. You're a good person in a bad situation. Something I've been doing recently is repeating the word "Yes" over and over. I've spent decades thinking and feeling the word "No" nearly every minute of every day. And you know what? The word "No" feels like crap. Our parents say it a thousand times to us. So do our teachers, friends, coworkers, strangers, you name it. Somewhere in all that we start saying it to ourselves, and when that happens, it becomes all we hear. "No, you can't!" "No, you're not good enough!" "No, you suck!" "No, you will never be loved!" "No, you deserve to be alone!" "No, even God don't love you, you piece of sh*t!" When I say ...morethe word "Yes" I feel like all these parts of me, from every year of my life, perk up. And they're thinking "Wait. What did you say? Did you just tell me yes? Nobody tells me yes. Do it again!" I can feel the healing happening in real time. It's a little weird. You can even direct it at a part of the body, like your kidneys so the stones will pass. Anyway, I'm just sharing. I like your picture you colored! Pretty colors. I'm sorry you lost a good friend and that Memorial Day brings up the painful memories. Nobody likes to feel abandoned by the people they love. I'm willing to bet he is sorry for leaving you and the others behind. That would have to be a heavy burden to carry, knowing you've hurt others and you can't fix it. Have you told him how you feel? I have a belief that those who pass on can hear us when we talk to them. Just make it very clear who you are addressing, and out loud. You can even ask for a sign that he's gotten the message. It might bring you some healing. Thanks for sharing your journey with us! It makes it feel more like a team thing than a solitary thing.
    • MarzieMalfoy parent reply Thank you so much for sharing this. Your words mean so much to me. I do actually talk to him every night. I miss him and wish him well wherever he is. I do get signs that he's around sometimes. Life is really messy and I guess I'm just not done picking up the pieces. Dunno if I'll ever be done but at least a little bit at a time will get cleared out.
    • [ – ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas parent reply I hope I didn't get too weird for you in this comment.
      • MarzieMalfoy parent reply Oh no! I don't know why I didn't see this and a few other ones. Thanks for commenting again to let me known I missed it :)
  • [ – ] Sweetpotates reply Oh no NOT THE GREY HAIR!!! My friend has a ton of white hairs lmao
  • [ – ] Roamancing reply I'd be careful of the blood pressure medications. It was suggested those could be used for my migraines, but I am so sensitive to drugs that they won't put me on those for exactly the reasons that is happening to you. Have you tried any mindfulness and meditation? That has helped me a lot (along with my cat, until I sadly lost her a few months ago). I've also been finding bowen therapy to be helpful. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. And might I say, thank you for your service.
  • [ – ] Rawman reply Hahaha you don't know the difference still medicated!! Hahahaa. You Jason novad us on a serious video! Rest in peace to your fallen comrade. That is really nice to have a book dedicated wow. You really are too good. I don't need to wake up 2 days later with S*** everywhere haha you remind me of the animation with me and rocky. Shadow is great and I'm glad you got her. I'm glad you feel better and the meds are helping you. My first grey hair. Life is killing me hahahahahhaa
  • [ – ] CrazyRocky reply You look REALLY pretty today, just sayin
    • [ – ] CrazyRocky parent reply Also I can absolutely see how memorial day would be tough, stay strong Marzie we love ya!
    • [ – ] MarzieMalfoy parent reply Thank you so much Rocky! That means a lot coming from you <3 <3 <3
      • [ – ] HeroicVillain parent reply Aw, let's all go out for pancakes and whiskey.
        • [ – ] RichardWendling parent reply ever have whiskey maple syrup? Man the hillbillies know how to eat! On grits or biscuits? I stopped eating beef and pork cuz my body won't digest it. Erg! Smoked ham from the smoky mountains! It's what killed my father! Yeah and the biscuits and gravy and 4 stick of butter in the mashed potatoes! LUL! He loved it!
          • [ – ] HeroicVillain parent reply Yeah, we make maple brandy. Pretty good stuff. Tastes a LOT like sake.
            • [ – ] RichardWendling parent reply Never had that, but my Great uncle Christ used to make cider he made Regular, triple xxx and what he called ethyl and he was serious....you'd be floating on a sip of that! When I was 5 I saw him have his 50th wedding anniversary and renewed his vows to my great aunt Mary. The party after was EPIC I danced until I slept! I was 5, it was awesome!
              • [ – ] RichardWendling parent reply I would like to try maple brandy, dang!
                • [ – ] HeroicVillain parent reply Basically, you tap a maple tree, get the sap which is basically water, add 2 lbs of beet sugar and sherry yeast, let it ferment until it's mostly dry but still SLIGHTLY sweet, pump it out so the crap at the bottom doesn't get mixed in, add a liter of everclear/moonshine, bottle it and let it set for a few months and you'll have something that tastes a lot like rice wine.
  • [ – ] SamEarl13 reply Hopefully you can sort out your medication, my Nan has to take a lot so they try to screw with her prescription all the time (in fact I'm pretty sure I'm one of the only people in the family not on depression tablets or something). Shadow is such a lovely dog, she definitely knows how to cheer people up :D
  • MarzieMalfoy reply And thank you @JustABloke for tracking down my book and sharing the link :)
  • MarzieMalfoy reply Please check out @AmandaFood she is such a sweetheart!
  • [ – ] RichardWendling reply Your dog made me feel better!
  • [ – ] RichardWendling reply They just jacked me around for the last three months with new meds, erg. I have been taking hemp based only, you have to eat it...I make pills with coconut oil. It doesn't give you the pain relief the narc drugs to but after a time you feel better and better. CBD meds help so much. I stutter like mad on or getting off Doctor meds...
  • [ – ] USUandS reply Amanda is incredibly sweet. Loved the video she made about it! But hey, I'd love to hear these more often if you felt good about making it. You have a community who be more than happy to hear what you've got to say or what's on your mind. And I'm sure you've heard this a million times but holy shit, your service dog is adorable. My heart melted into goo when she came into the room. The artwork was amazing as well. Loved the attention to deal and patterns in it. Keep doing you, Marzie.
  • [ – ] Bobtoronto reply Your first grey hair. Congrats! You're a grown up now. Yeah, I'm on Clonapin (Clonazepam in Canada). It's tricky. I'll have a day or two when I need an extra milligram and then spend the next few days trying to take less so I don't run out early. I do have to be careful with that stuff.
  • [ – ] Aaronshy reply Always good to know what's on your mind.
  • MarzieMalfoy reply Things just started getting too real. Not sure how much longer I can hold out.
