  • [ – ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply Ah man, not starting the time lapse would be one of my moves. The footage is really pretty. You filmed on a nice day. The music seemed a tad bit loud in contrast to your voice though, but not too bad. All in all you made it very enjoyable!
    • [ – ] AmandaFood parent reply Always giving good advice :)
    • [ – ] JustABloke parent reply Totally agree, the music was too loud, I set the gain down to 22% on my 3rd render. Not only that, there was too many shaky footage left in for my liking. I always appreciate your feedback, you give me and others confidence or ideas on how improve ourselves. I still do not consider myself a content creator (yet) but I am working on it.
      • Flying_Purple_Pizzas parent reply Thanks for the appreciation! You are totally a content creator! Even those who've been doing it awhile still learn new things all the time. And you don't have to post daily or even weekly to earn the title. Maybe you are a perfectionist like me. It took me decades to decide I was good enough for the title of "human". Maybe my standards for myself are unrealistically high. The cool thing is you keep at it. I hope you continue finding it rewarding and fun. I know it's a lot of work.
  • [ – ] AmandaFood reply I loved this! I love biking but I would still be scared going on the road with cars but like you said they go slow so it's alright. It was such a nice scenery.
    • JustABloke parent reply Eastbourne, is like a really close-knit seaside community, cyclists swimmers canoeists joggers dog-walkers etc live here in large numbers. I don't mind cycling here, but only in winter. Summer craziness, I leave that to the young and adventurous.
  • [ – ] USUandS reply Wow, the weather seemed absolutely perfect for cycling. I don't blame you for not getting the time-lapse because it was such a nice day to just sit back and observe what's going on around you. I also really liked seeing the NZ scenery; with the way you filmed it, it felt like I was there seeing it in person on a bike. I enjoyed it.
    • [ – ] JustABloke parent reply There is so much more great scenic rides where I live, but typically it's off road, in bush, mountain bike material. Which I definitely won't participate in, I like the idea of not dieing. The older you get the more important this last statement becomes. On a road at least the 3rd car that ran over you might stop and call emergency services.
      • USUandS parent reply Ah I see. Yeah I'm all for that too, so no narrow winding paths. Lol you'd HOPE so. Where I am, I've been through biking areas where people like to go a little faster than usual and it's pretty damn terrifying feeling helpless against a moving weapon.
  • [ – ] opaxel1967 reply Yes, totally agree , great video but the music was to load , made undertsanding you a bit difficult at times .. shaky ?? lol ... you have seen my videos , your bit of shake is nothing !!
  • [ – ] DiamondDebLP reply You have such nice places to ride. Most of our city's bike trails are a joke.
    • JustABloke parent reply These shared pathways are great for families with young children learning to ride bicycles. The NZ Government have made a commitment to make these sealed pathways go from top to bottom in NZ and they are progressing really well. The thing is, mountain biking sport is HUGE in NZ, with amazing tracks in forests to peaks and ridges above sheep/cattle stations. I refuse to partake in that sport, I prefer to be run over by a Post Van, the idea of riding off a cliff does not appeal to me whatsoever.
  • [ – ] uniquet reply Awesome bro I enjoyed your journey 👍😎
  • [ – ] Cl0mar reply Love the scenery. Reminds me that I need to go cycling again soon!
    • JustABloke parent reply Oh yes, I loved watching the videos where you not only ride, but also go on walks. I get to see some of you parks/towns through your lens.
