I detected in 3 different places today locally for about 4 hours. No old coins again, but dug $2.13 including another clad half dollar. I don't remember ever digging 2 clad halves in the same month before, maybe the same year. The clad halves didn't circulate like the old silver ones did. I remember the cash registers had a place for halves in the 60's, and they were almost as common as quarters then. I found a 1921-D Walker in pocket change back then and had a cool coin collection of Walkers, Mercs, Buffs, and of course Wheaties, all from circulation.
