Hey guys! This week we have something a bit more crazy than most of the more straight forward pieces I cover. We're taking on Toby Fox's "Wrong Enemy !?"; a request by my man Creature Puppet! This theme is so nuts musically. It has this general A major vibe throughout the first part but with this extremely dissonant tail end of the melody. It's so abnormal and well, Toby Fox-like haha. Then afterwards, oh man, it gets so so nuts with the jazzy bass walking during the B major part. My simple metal mind wasn't prepared for this challenge! I was just so Determi...motivated to make it as crushingly brutal as possible because of how upbeat the original is. I spent a ton of time experimenting to come up with these brutal yet happy riffs, I'm super happy with how it turned out and this ended up being one of my most favorite covers I've done recently! I also spent a ton of extra time on the mix just to get it hopefully as crushing as I could. I'm always trying to carve out a bit of space in my mixes to get them sounding a bit clearer, but I never want to lose the heaviness! I'm super happy with what ended up on this project! I hope you guys enjoy it ass much as I enjoyed making it, I'll definitely be doing some more Undertale soon! ➤ The original "Wrong Enemy !?" theme from the game "Undertale" was composed by Toby Fox. ➤ Thank you to KomicGD for the game footage! ➤ Gear used in this cover: - ESP Guitars - Hughes and Kettner amplifiers - Fishman Fluence Pickups - EMG Pickups - Dunlop Jazz III Tortex picks - Monster Cables - Ernie Ball Strings - BIAS Desktop Amp Simulator Plugin - Toontrack Superior Drummer 2.0
