  • [ – ] JadeJicama reply Yup, that's about right. Only just slightly better. And, I seriously can't remember ever getting past the ice world. Oh, no, wait, went to check out a guide, and the next level brought back a horrible flash of one ridiculously long and frustrating jumping puzzle, in Egypt. The odd side effect of this game's story is that Bart being the ridiculous mischief maker is what keeps the Simpson's together as a family. Without him, they just cease to be. Also, I think you were supposed to jump into the snowballs Marge was throwing to release the snow Krusty...
    • [ – ] Octotiggy parent reply Ohhh of COURSE! Why wouldn't I have thought of jumping INTO the projectiles? XD There's an okay idea for a game here that got lost. The minigames (sliding puzzle, cup game, slot machine, memory) should have been bonus levels inbetween the main paltforming sections, where you could gain points or lives if you passed them, but shouldn't have been necessary for progression. The platforming sections weren't completely terrible, but the jumping mechanic is unnecessarily fidgety and the objectives for each aren't completely clear (collect stuff... or don't-- it's up to you?). Hey, at least the skateboarding section was kind of okay!
      • [ – ] JadeJicama parent reply I'm not defending the game, I'm just working on decades old memories now... This game came out when I was... twelve... and had no idea what a decent control scheme was... And the running theme between the two games is that your family are there to help you with puzzles, thus the jumping into Marge's snowballs.
        • [ – ] Octotiggy parent reply Ha, it's okay-- I'm having a go at the game, not you. It's a wonder I didn't get accidentally hit by Marge's snowballs as it is. What does melting the snow Krusty do?
          • JadeJicama parent reply I have no clue, maybe it drops a Krusty head? Does it unlock an extra level? I can't seem to remember, unfortunately.
