Image or picture drifting has been a problem that many PS VR users have been dealing with, including myself. One of the remedies I had attempted was to use the old PlayStation Camera as opposed to the new one, and although that alleviated the issue quite a bit the problem was that it still remained. Recently after looking into it more and playing around with other headsets, I've been educated on how important stability is with a VR headset's sensor. Sense the PlayStation VR uses the PlayStation Camera as a sensor, it would make sense for it to be as stable as possible, right? That's where this fix comes into play!
After finding a cheap and easy way to stabilize my PlayStation Camera playing around with the headset was no longer a chore. As long as I was not going out of my way to move around all over the place, I could set myself up and remain situated for the rest of the game with no more drift issues! Although your method for this may vary, I would recommend giving something like this a shot so you could have the best VR experience possible.
