If You HAD To Pick 5 YouTubers To Come To Vidme, Who Would They Be?

  • [ – ] Y2JayDoesAsia reply To be honest I would just chose 5 random Youtube vloggers with under 1000 subscribers. I'm not particularly looking forward to big youtubers coming here, once they do they'll basically bury everybody that's already here. When I say bury this is pro wrestling lingo, it means that the existing vidizens will just be overshadowed by somebody with a massive audience making the move here.
    • LadyK parent reply So true! I came here from YouTube because I got frustrated with those top Youtubers who got their family members to join YT. And within a month or two, these family members got over 1 K subs or more. They didn't earn their subs. And while the rest of us are struggling to create more content, it's like they got a free ride and a YT button plaque. Must be nice. I am dunno with You know who.
    • MrJoelDee parent reply There's a part of me that's afraid of that too. I think overall though, with the really big YouTubers, unless Vidme gets super huge, they probably wouldn't consider coming here anyway. Some would view it as a "step down" or beneath them. Some do books, sing, have been on tv, and do podcasts so they have plenty of other options to make a living. I know the reason some YouTubers got big in the first place was because they were on tv at one point and time and when that played out, they went to YT and their audience followed. Some people say YouTubers coming here would help Vidme grow. I don't necessarily agree with that, plus unless it has to do with the platform being able to sustain itself and continue to exist, I don't get why some people are so hot for Vidme to get huge anyway. I'm perfectly fine with it remaining a small community. It can grow by more small content creators coming here definitely, but I don't see the point in bringing people who've already had huge success. I've ju...morest seen a lot of talk about it and thought, ok, if I had to pick, who would it be. I generally do whatever pops into my head next for a video lol. Whatever the future of Vidme, I'm just gonna keep on doing what I enjoy doing and making the kind of videos I wanna make, and know there will always be somebody out there who will watch them, even if I get drowned out by bigger creators, YT or otherwise, but I hope that never happens ultimately.
  • [ – ] TanyaMills reply May I please borrow this idea for a video? I would credit you in the video as well as the comments.
  • November_Fox reply First I would pick Jacksepticeye and Markiplier, because they're the only gaming let's players I actually give a crap about. I would also pick FLuffeeTalks. He does a lot of "World's worst _______". Another YouTuber I recently got into is JANGBRIX". He does exclusively Lego videos. Finally I would take Boogie2988. Unfortunately it's a bit hard to explain what he does.
  • [ – ] WarpSpeedStarship2 reply NONE, I think They're better on YouTube...
    • [ – ] MrJoelDee parent reply Well, no worries lol, I think these that I selected would have to completely lose thier YT channels to go anywhere else, and that's not likely to happen as at least 3 of the 5 pretty much always have "family friendly content" which YT loves so much to suck up to.
