A review of a game produced by Ubisoft and developed by Obsidian Entertainment alongside South Park Digital Studios that aimed to re-establish the quality of the South Park Franchise game expectations but removing the 3D element, and focusing more on creating a more immersive experiance. A RPG based 3rd person exploration and progression based game, South Park: The Stick of Truth was heralded as the best South Park game ever, and one of the most popular games of 2014 which presents the player with a world in which the player is free to roam and explore the fictional small little mountain town of South Park, and create their own adventure. The game has elements of turn based combat, hoarding and collecting loot, exploration and masses of comedy in a game written by the creators of South Park Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The story will entertain you from start top finish unless this type of humour offends you, and on this episode we will delve into the game to explore why and if the hype was justified, and why Youtube is awash with more letsplay footage than most other games could ever dream of.
