  • [ – ] cronstomp reply VidME will be the new youtube as youtube goes complete 1984. Goodbye youtube!
  • [ – ] teambrookyn reply my opinion, they aren't calling you an ebegger because you ask for money, but you also try to make viewers feel bad for not donating, which you did first up with your conscience comment. i don't think anyone begrudges you asking for money on here, lots of creators do, but if you go down the road of ~lack of integrity for not donating~ it may provoke a negative reaction. Whether you create value or not you're sharing on an open service where anyone can view your stuff, and it is a bit shabby to try to manipulate people who don't have the money to stop watching when you posted on what is in essence a free service
  • BigGoy4U reply I prefer the term "panhandling". It sounds fun and old-timey, like hobo and tramp.
  • YourMajesty reply Some Money Sent Stefan. Keep plugging bud!
  • [ – ] GeorgeEnglish reply True words but some people are too poor. You lived near me in south London so you know in England we must pay a massive yearly fee to the bbc to lie to us. If we don't pay, we get a criminal record and get locked up. Getting to the point, if we didn't have the bbc fine we could put money to yter's we like. Thanks
    • [ – ] Politics_N_Games parent reply If you can give up watching BBC programs, you don't have to give the BBC your money.
      • [ – ] GeorgeEnglish parent reply If you own a telly you have to pay. If the law has changed Ill look into it. I ignore the telly but there is one on, others like it, I don't. The bbc isn't for entertainment, it is a vision manuel on how to think and behave. I won't say much more, my comments are banned from YouTube because I criticise the thought state of the UK.
        • [ – ] Politics_N_Games parent reply You can watch non-BBC TV programs on catch up services, without a TV licence. Consider getting a smart TV with YouVeiw.
          • [ – ] GeorgeEnglish parent reply Really! I ll look into that. Thank you.
            • Politics_N_Games parent reply Or you could just buy a box for your TV. Make sure you remove the TV aerial. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=youview+box&source=univ&tbm=shop&tbo=u&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiszpecmbjVAhWJKMAKHS9CBWwQsxgIJw&biw=1525&bih=779
      • VybeyPantelonez parent reply It's called sacrifice
      • [ – ] Dantoshou parent reply If you watch any live TV in the UK you have to pay, this includes on the internet, whether its a BBC channel or not, it is a shambles. However the fee should be scrapped in a few years.
      • [ – ] Obongo parent reply Any TV that receives a signal has to pay, it's a television licence not a BBC one
        • GeorgeEnglish parent reply Yes, but only the bbc receive the cash. The license should be made illegal. Spain has no licence, all channels take ads. It's long over due here in the UK to follow suit. The bbc is overly corrupt.
        • Politics_N_Games parent reply You can watch all catch up services (other than BBC iPlayer) without a TV licence. A smart TV with YouVeiw will do the job.
  • Auceza reply The crappy Mainstream Media are begging at the big corporations.
  • Star_Wars6collector reply you have millions so how can you talk about this
  • [ – ] VybeyPantelonez reply Stefan, i recently donated for the first time and it was before you had posted this video. I donated because i acknowledged the enormous amount of value you've provided me by posting your philosophical and political talks. You're not begging. I lived in Detroit for a while and people used to assume i had money because i am white (even though i was driving a beat up pickup and wearing metal tshirts lol). I'd say "if i had money to give to you why $&%* would i be living here"... anyway haha i can safely say they are mostly providing no value and i can tell the difference between you and a beggar. These are probably coddled little babies that have never seen a real beggar. Ill donate again as soon as i can. Keep up the good work.
  • lionsground reply The negative word choice of people reflects the negative shortcomings.
  • TheNoblePeasant reply Good job you got over here the censorship is coming on YouTube
  • Dustieattic reply Begging? or surviving as an independent provider?....Its not like MSM is going to open their doors and offer you a platform to make public your ideologies and thoughts thus you rely on an independent platform and only request for the same thing MSM would offer (But far less of course)...A pay check or a means to put food on the table and gas in the car....I tipped.
  • lochdude reply Sell your television and use the money and the money you save from not paying the BBC to youtubers.
  • kinkydoints reply just found you here ...thanks for your wisdom on most stuff common sense . don't know if you actually watch us common folk who don't really like to publish on you-tube, but I have a channel , and I am a member of the Freedomain Radio. https://vid.me/kinkydoints
  • DrAKIA reply Tipped
  • Debrajo33 reply Look, Stephen, I thought this out long ago. I find value in a lot you say. I'm a broken person, but I have value to some people. if I don't help someone or thing I value, I don't have it. Blessed be and peace. i beg your pardon. That's a thing. Of course you've done nothing wrong.
  • McNuggitt reply You tube
  • GamingRoom reply fuck yeah! the man who is salvaging the western civilization is here, at vid! and basically, you're not making an argument.
  • mistrx reply Stefan, you are doing great job! Don't let these clowns waste your time!
  • jtarrats reply I enjoy Trolling but not on ur content , enjoy ur perspective in politics and economics.
  • richardboom reply People that conflate asking and begging don't think deeply. They don't philosophize, that's why they can't see the difference between the two. A lot of people are like that unfortunately.
  • [ – ] Yippy_Ki_Aye reply I've been watching you for free on YouTube for a while. I just switched over to Vidme today because of their new censorship... This site makes donating my support to free speech easy. Sorry that I just haven't gotten on Patrion... But I did make a donation to you here.
    • [ – ] richardboom parent reply Welcome to vidme! A lot of people came to vidme because of youtube censorship.
      • [ – ] Yippy_Ki_Aye parent reply I followed Styx over here just today. I left a message for Vidme on his video stating I would remain here as long as it is a safe haven for free speech. I'm in the process of finding, following and even funding my favorite content creators from YouTube. All this censorship effort though, has me thinking about putting together a kickstarter campaign to creat an absolute free speech platform to further compete with YouTube and Vidme.
        • [ – ] richardboom parent reply I went here primarily because I don't want my content censored and demonetize. I could tell you that the mainstream is really hard at work. I get more views here than in youtube. You already have alt-platforms. gab.ai as alternative for twitter. minds.com is somewhat a facebook alternative. If you signup there, let's follow each other. minds.com/richardboom and gab.ai/richardboom People on those platform are also much better.
          • [ – ] Yippy_Ki_Aye parent reply I'm on minds, but trying to figure out exactly how it works. I'm @YippyKiAye on minds. @Yippy_Ki_Aye on Twitter. New there too.
            • [ – ] richardboom parent reply Ok. I'm following you on both. And please follow back, I'm trying to grow my channels (especially in vidme). Forget twitter. Concentrate on gab. I got 41 followers in gab, and 0 followers in twitter for the same period of time and same activities. What worked for me in minds is joining groups, then posting and interacting with people there. Following and upvoting content also gets people's attention.
              • Yippy_Ki_Aye parent reply You had to of gotten it wrong somehow... I checked and you're not connected to me on either. I'll work on figuring it out and find you.
  • katburns reply It's so hard to ask for what you want, and it takes humility and guts when money is involved. It's pretty hard to expect free content on every platform, but people do. No one wants to pay for music (as an artist, I can attest - it sucks) no one wants to pay for tv, etc etc but then...how can people create with no budget? The viewers are the new record label, cable station, film studio. They demand, but they need to contribute. They get value that is worth paying for! Rant over, haa. Thanks for the video :)
