  • [ – ] mormozine reply Hey bro I need to binge watch your channel.
  • [ – ] TheSmusher reply It's great to see you getting started on your weight loss journey.
  • [ – ] ExcalibursZone reply My question for you, Jeff, is: Are you following a program? Did you do any research on walking for weight loss? Do you do other exercises besides just walking? And my eating triggers are stress-related, which I found out recently. Super stressed? I eat BBQ Chicken bites (adult chicken nuggets) and scarf down the chocolate. I may join you on the journey since I need to lose weight as well and get the exercise on. I'll think about it.
    • WalkingForWeightLoss parent reply @ExcalibursZone No program. Just me walking and limiting calories to no more than 2k per day. I first did walking for weight loss in 2012 - or was it 2013?? Back then I researched a lot of weight loss stuff and emailed some fitness folks. In essence, weight loss seems to be primarily a matter of calories in, calories out. I use a calorie tracking app and also a walk tracking app. I've done walking for weight loss before and so I know it works for me. I prefer low stress / low impact and being outdoors so this is why walking is ideal for me. You mentioned having a pool right? Swimming is great for low impact. I suspect if you made time for swimming, walking, and limiting calories per day, you'd see very likely see encouraging results within a month. But significant weight loss done naturally typically takes several months. When it comes to weight loss and the right and wrong foods, there always seems to be contrasting opinions out there so at the end of the day only you can decide...more what makes sense for you. I struggle with emotional eating and addressing that more in-depth is on my "to film" list for this channel. Before starting up walking for weight loss again, I was eating large amounts of fast food and sweets like a pint of ice cream daily. I see the more I keep myself busy, the less my mind is focused on food.
  • WalkingForWeightLoss reply Good news: I now film my vid intros in my auto so I affix the camera to a mount on the windshield - so no more shaky footage soon.
  • WalkingForWeightLoss reply Is going though a breakup or seeing an ex an emotional eating trigger for you❓
