From the Discord:
So as I said a few days ago, I have been wanting to give back to the community that has supported me throughout the 18 months that I have been on Ace of Hearts Gaming. For those of you that don't know, my happiest time doing this whole Youtube/Twitch thing was when I was a network executive for the Eternal Youtube Network. I enjoyed it because I got to meet so many new talents, help them through the ins and outs of both platforms and even became close personal friends with a few of them. A few (smaller ones anyway) called me a mentor.
Ever since I returned to the "spotlight" so to speak, I haven't really been happy. I realize that I do better in helping out a community through being that advisor for others and bringing people together to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts.
So starting today, Ace of Hearts Gaming will become a gaming community, rather than just myself and Petra. I plan to be creating a team of streamers and Youtubers, selected by myself and a future committee, that will receive help from us through promotions on Twitter, this Discord, and other projects I come up with. I'm also planning on creating some things on my own on the side, and hopefully have some of them help me out in that sense. It's a way of playing to my strengths. I'm still going to Youtube/stream, but not as often, as this is going to be sort of a managerial role of sorts. This will eventually lead to things like stream teams, getting Youtube networks to sponsor us, and even creating e-league teams for competitions.
For sure, in the present a friend of mine I used to work for in the Eternal Network can hook me up with a couple small sponsors to start over the next 3-4 months. I'm gonna start aggressively seeking out indie gaming development companies for copies of games and offer to review/stream/youtube those games. I'm in talks about adding a podcast community into this as well.
