Basic nunchaku techniques, all have real world value except the pass under the legs. No wrist spins. Wrist spins are for flash, there is no real world use for wrist spin. YOU MUST TRAIN BOTH SIDES OF THE BRAIN... Eg both hands. Strive to make them equal and then use med to long rooted moving strides using front stance or back stance. Learn the movement separately then put them together in long sequences. After you have accomplished that, start moving from stance to stance in the four directions. West-east south-north then east - west -north - south. Slowly at first as hitting you're self can be painful to you're self and others. Remember, this is not a toy.
I will not accept responsibility for the misuse of the information given in this video . If it's to fast... Then slow it down . This was my first take, also the first time in many years since I used nunchaku after making them for the nunchaku build yourself video. Be smart and start slow.
It takes about three months to get comfortable with nunchaku and about 6 months to be proficient . Add on another 6-12 months if you decide to duel wield. This is a rough estimate, everyone is different. This should be approximately how long it should take with a hour or two every other day. HOWEVER... Mastering can take a lifetime, it all depends on how long and hard you practice. I plan on putting together many more videos on the nunchaku. It's more popular than I thought it would be. Thanks for watching. If you have any question or comments, feel free to e-mail me a message or two to firstname.lastname@example.org.
