  • [ – ] WolfyAU82 reply From what I watched on Netflix (Australia), Gotham essentially plays out like Batman Year One adapted into the rogue's gallery origin story series with Batman taking a child seat in the back. Of the episodes available, it's actually well written and the Joker is both hilarious and equally disturbing at the same time! Gotham's good show and interesting take on a particular DC universe storyline, but it's something will have to do catchup if I get around to see new episodes not having watched it for sometime now.

I think this show and Agents of Shield are very well done, its is just that there is so much competitions that I stopped watching after season 1. I watched a Season 3 episode recently And I see how the prodcers/writers treat the characters in a way that might confuse new fans.
      • [ – ] WolfyAU82 parent reply Most of the comic franchise TV show adaptations are, but the problem most can face is falling into the trap of going down that path Lost did - being a classic example of a show that can lose viewers who miss an episode of few. Services like Netflix are pretty good for staying on top of that problem, but then you've got the other one where you have competing interests on the same or different streaming network... Like in my case anime on Crunchyroll, etc.
