  • Nicodemous52 reply I don't normally like government regulations, however, if we are going to force them to put the nutritional value on the label anyway, we should force them to be honest about what a serving actually is. They shouldn't be putting artificially low servings on the packages to make the product not seem as bad as it is. A serving should be defined as what a average, normal person would stop at. Like those bags of chips at the gas station. Most people eat at least half the bag if not the whole thing, but those are usually counted as 3 or 4 servings for the whole bag. That is ridiculous .
  • [ – ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply Hey, Jay, great job with the weight loss. I think you're right about how important it is to choose the right foods. Many doctors and other "experts" believe that a calorie is a calorie no matter what it is. They think that the body treats all food the same or something. I figure not only does each food get treated different by your body, but each person's body treats food a little different depending on where they are at. Genetics, climate, general health as well as health of specific organs and glands and such. It all factors in I'd say. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us and being an inspiration. I appreciate it!
