In this video I show how to install Coldboot HaxChi (CBHC) on your Wii U console which will allow you to boot directly into IOSU, homebrew or the Virtual Wii homebrew launcher as soon as you power on your device.
This is a very cool exploit which will save you alot of time if you use your Wii U often, however if you don't set it up correctly it can brick your system so make sure you follow the instructions in the video carefully!
If you don't have regular HaxChi installed on your Wii U yet, you won't be able to install Cold boot Haxchi yet. You need to watch my video on how to install HaxChi first:
You will need to download the latest versions of HaxChi and Coldboot HaxChi to follow through this video, you can get them from this website:
Also get the config.txt file used in this video for updating HaxChi here:
You can block firmware updates from Nintendo by using any two of the following custom DNS servers:
168.235.092.108 - LA
081.004.127.020 - Netherlands
184.108.40.206 - DNS-U
107.211.140.065 - Tubehax
If you are unsure how to change your DNS, click the first link in the description as I show how you can set it up in my regular HaxChi video.
If you decide to uninstall coldboot haxchi from your console in the future, you can do so by following this tutorial from FlimFlam69:
If you want to change your Autoboot settings, you can just press the home button when the 'Autoboot' screen appears before the system menu loads. That will bring you back to the original Cold boot haxchi menu
I hope this video helped you out. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to let me know in the comments and I'll do my best to get back to you.
