  • [ – ] AmandaFood reply Heyyyy glad you're liking your job. 12 hour shift must be tough staying in one place for so long ugh
    • JessicaMartwin parent reply I love my job :D The shifts are tough. Especially since I only get about 4 hours of sleep each day before my shifts. I will get used to it though.
  • [ – ] therunningrebel reply Yay! Congrats on your apartment!! Lol so is Ethan gonna get Ace on his way there?
  • [ – ] dalestark05 reply great video looking forward to see your new place I miss the vlogs
  • [ – ] ExcalibursZone reply I figured your new job would be sucking a lot of your time away from your recording schedule. That's what they do, and being a nurse is one of the busiest jobs out there. :) Glad to see you back, though! Oh, and you reminded me to put a load of clothes in the dryer...LOL :D
    • JessicaMartwin parent reply It is. I feel like I am getting the hang of things so I'm starting to vlog and see how it goes. I am definitely glad that I chose to become a nurse. It has been busy but great so far. Hahaha, I always forget to finish my laundry. Sarah always has to remind me to finish lol.
  • [ – ] nodetact reply I'm probably still lucky whether or not I get to film M.O.V.E.S. Episode 1 at the end of this month, seeing as how even though I've gotten to prolong my work based learning from six to ten weeks (also at the end of this month) it suggests that I may very well go full time on a real job position for the first time once it's all over. But it's not just monthly vlogging that's bothering me, nor is it technically having to almost upload three videos in a row next week after tonight... I am very much capable of handling all the things I promised to do simultaneously (rather than biting more than I can chew, it's more like having all the things I'm doing progress slower than usual, but that's supposed to be the point/strategy!) and so for what it's worth if it means putting together my videos piece by piece in different days across the weeks at a time (as opposed to preparing scripts and audio content ahead of time only to video edit and publish all on the same day... That will only last for...more so long, if I haven't already said so myself) while my other projects and activities take place at their own intervals, then someday I may very well cut the crap and do so. Meanwhile, as @danielamann suggestively heed a return to any more videos here on Vidme (if not vlogging or even daily vlogging), @BrianAiya catches loose on his own as of late brand new vlog series (hurry back up, bro!) and now @JessicaMartwin returns to further engage her nearly one grand number of followers, who else over here on Vidme already has or thinks about doing video logging?
    • JessicaMartwin parent reply Uploading videos more than a few time a week is challenging. I used to upload vlogs everyday, then a few a week. Now I'm lucky if I'm able to upload once every couple of weeks. Well, not that I am getting the hang of my new nursing job, I am able to upload more often. It is challenging and I know I could do much better work with the videos but that will take some time to get used to. Once I really get the hang of things I hope to improve my content.
  • [ – ] sapphiredskye reply Off topic, but I love sunflowers. It's nice to see you!
  • [ – ] theoldsparrow reply I thought it would be a bit tougher to work nights and vlog at the same time. Last time I worked nights it was a pain to do anything during the day. Want some new books? Nah you'll just fall asleep in your car parked out in front of the bookstore. Want food at 4am? Nah everything is closed until at least 6am. At least with night shift you do have job security and most of the time a bump in pay even if you feel like a vampire. :D
    • JessicaMartwin parent reply It is really tough. I love mornings/days so it will take a while to get used to. Ha, it is tough trying to do things during the day. I have a training thing tomorrow morning and i was trying to sleep at night but I couldn't. So, it's 4 am and I'm watching some anime lol.
  • [ – ] the_epilepsy_guy reply Nurses are highly under appreciates.
  • [ – ] WebNoob reply Woo hoo.
  • [ – ] DrCut reply Cool!!! You have your apartment and we gonna make it party! :) But you work too much! Congrats for your diploma and license driver! You didn't waste your time! ^^
  • [ – ] USUandS reply Wow, could not deal w that many 12 hour shifts in a row, what a champ. I'm just glad everything's been going well and you're breaking into your new job. And grats on getting into an apartment with the bf! I'm sure it'll be less stressful for the both of y'all, but like you mentioned there's no need to worry about not vlogging at all. you gotta do you first.
    • JessicaMartwin parent reply It was hard but I like it. I couldn't imagine working that many 12s in a row if I hated the job. It is really exciting to have our own place now :)
  • [ – ] the_epilepsy_guy reply Thank you for your dedication in helping others
  • [ – ] MUMS-Universe reply Congrats on the new apartment & all things wonderful! Night/Shift work is crazy but you'll kinda sorta get used to it. Good money, lot's of learning will occur & once you're done w/ night/shift work you'll appreciate the heck out of normal-ish hours. Get some rest & see u on the internets. 🙂
    • JessicaMartwin parent reply Thanks :) The night shift is crazy but I like crazy lol. I can definitely see myself working nights for a long time. It is really busy and I like that about a job.
  • [ – ] JustABloke reply For most of us who have followed you for a while, we totally understand that life comes first. You do realise once you move out to your own apartment you have to do the dishes all the time, can't rely on sis anymore (psst we are all children at heart no matter how old we get, we just don't want to show it). And on that note, I think Sarah is an amazing non vlogging person who has mostly been in every vlog you've uploaded since moving into her home. I'm going to miss her comments where she fills in things you've missed, teamwork aye!
    • JessicaMartwin parent reply I know....... Ethan mentioned not having a dishwasher and he's like "oh, I guess I'm the dishwasher now..." Haha, at least he said he'd wash them. I know, right?! She doesn't mind being in the vlogs. Ethan, on the other hand, does not being on camera. I plan on visiting her often, though. My apartment is about 25 minutes from her house, which isn't bad.
  • [ – ] Fellua reply Hey
