  • [ – ] JimGiant reply Pause benches are a fantastic way to get stronger especially if you pair them with the push press. Maybe invest in some micro plates so you can increase it in smaller increments.
    • UnarmoredForce parent reply The other gym I go to has micro plates and I usually prefer benching there. I failed to push 90 kg when I had planned for being able to do it, so I had to take a step back and start again to make sure I make sure there's no flaws in my technique, as well as looking into if there were other weaknesses or imbalances.
