  • JellyMyst reply I must say I disagree on Persona 5, if only because I don't know if I could handle that game if it was constantly as heavy, or as heavy-handed as it is in the first palace. Beyond that, though, I don't agree that this sort of thing as a whole is negative in the way you seem to think it is. Yes, that sort of ecchi scene is usually played up for laughs, but what's the punchline? Usually, it's the guy who does it getting physically assaulted by the girl, even if what he did was entirely accidental. I contend that this is negative for two reasons: One, it portrays the majority of men as perverts who will sneak any peak and touch any part of a woman without consent; and two, it plays physical assault up for laughs and justifies it by implying that if men don't want women to do this they just shouldn't be such perverts.
