These clips were taken in February. I plan on making a video regarding my thoughts on SeaWorld and cetacean captivity in general hopefully within a few months!
We went to San Antonio a few weeks ago and one of our plans was to go to SeaWorld. SeaWorld was closed during our trip though, so we made reservations to do a tour. I was disappointed because I really wanted to see the shows, but it was actually better. We got to see many animals face to face and interact with them. We were able to ask many questions, including questions concerning SeaWorld's recent decisions, future, and welfare of the animals. Also swam with a dolphin like I did at Discovery Cove. Took photos with a sea lion, macaw, penguin, Burmese python, and the dolphin we swam with. Apparently, our specific visit was a special one. We drove around the park in a van instead of walking, which was something new according to the tour guides. We also got to feed the white sided dolphins and hold a hyacinth macaw, which was also something they haven't seen before. So we were lucky!
(Quick note... I think that orca was actually Kamea. * sigh * I'll never be able to tell those two whales apart...)
