  • [ – ] Kentantino reply I was, he broke my heart he talking about us complaining about how the site treat some of the creators lol he calling us lazy 😭 after he like my videos 💔😱, 😂 but yeah people get really desperate it takes time.
    • [ – ] TheMicrowaves parent reply I really don't think that people who complain about Vidme are lazy but brave by putting there channels out there to encourage Vidme to make a level playing field for everyone, those guys are needed in the community and some of the best changes on the site are because of those who spoke up, for example the team picks upvote boost is being removed I think that's great and makes the trending page fair and 100% down to the viewer's upvote, just my thoughts on this.
      • StefanJenkins parent reply Personally I dont mind the team picks after all its there website why shouldn't they get a say ahaha? they are paying for the space we upload our videos to paying for website, helping people get tips and subscribes. Do You know whats happening with the featured creator star? Also I think it is a pretty level playing field whatever channel you go to people with the most followers will be able to get into the trending Paige more easily as they already have the following. People who dont work on the following just have to keep working at it and soon they will have just as many followers as the rest. good Content beats all :)
    • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply it dose unfortunately you have to work very hard on your videos :) and if you dont people will stop watching
      • [ – ] Kentantino parent reply No but really I coplaning a lot because I'm a commentary/gaming channel and I totally hate the unfairness of some places, that doesn't make me untalented or ect. I post 5 days a week and have 300 follower that believe me is amazing and epic and have been all hard work doing those complaning video are not easy because most of the time im trying to not offend nobody and not come across like a fucking idiot. One of them took me 8 try and refix a complete scrip. Thanks to that complaning now the vidme team is moving faster fixing stuff that was needed to be fix we have show people that cheating your way up the treanding not good.
        • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply I dont think vidme is unfair though thats what I am say why is everyone complaining if you want unfair head to YouTube and see what unfair is :) and thats Alright if your not complain alot then your not the lazy ones I am talking about :) Also I would say there is huge difference between pointing people out who are cheating than just complaing which Is what a small group of people are actually doing for no reason. (who I am Talking about) The main point of the video is success dosnt happen over night, work hard over a long period of time be consist. Dont worry about whatever one else is doing and focuse on the content of your videos. Vidme Is Still new give it time and let the team there sort it out :) Point out the cheaters, but dont hate due to lack of personal success. :)
          • [ – ] Kentantino parent reply No hating like I told you I do get your point, but if is not because of the complaning of stuff that been happening in the background this place will not get fix is better now than later because later it will turn into a youtube then you would be I should have voice my opinion when I have a chance. Once more I totally get you point.
            • StefanJenkins parent reply Loving the debate on this everyone is so passionate for Vidme and I love it :) I get that man no hate is felt whatsoever and dont fell hate from my side. me and you just see it from two different sides. Both are right I Think. I have faith that vidme will learn from youtube and will sort it out them selfs. This might be wrong and they might need the help. But personally have faith that they will do the right thing for the creators. I am not saying Dont complain. But some people are complaing to quickly just wait before making a video. See if they can fix it them selfs if not then look at complain to the team direct before making a video see what they have say. If you dont like then make a video. Also then you will get to say in the video what the Vidme Team think about the problem :)
  • [ – ] AxxL_Afriku reply I DONT KNOW IF I AM LAZY BUT I DEFINITELY AM UGLY
  • [ – ] InternetUnwind reply I feel you generalized too much here. I for one as many others do put a lot of thought into my videos and get more viewership on youtube than i do here. I see channels recently have been recently verified without meeting almost any of the requirments. Including not interacting with the community. There are people new to creating that haven't really been doing this long enough to be able to really review their content objectively. So they may put lots of work in and not understand how little effort it is until they work on a big project. The minority group of people i have seen have complained about vidme just not making it easy for them. I agree with your point against the creators that arent willing to put the work in, but I don't feel that they are the general creator uploading videos talking about issue on the site. Voicing opinions about issues with the platform isnt just negativity, its feedback for the vidme staff that comes with a comment section where people can agree or disa...moregree. Helping them guage whether or not the topic is a relevant concern.
    • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply the not interacting with the community is a hard one as alot of people might upload videos and might Upvote but wont comment on people videos. I think thats really difficult to judge what is interacting with the community as some people will comment and upvote loads some not so much. I agree if you just started what seems like a big project isnt that big, but thats what I mean when I say you have to be patient succeeds dosnt happen over night and keep up the working they will get the views with time :) The thing is how easy can the website make for them. Personally Vidme has give me a place to upload my videos, where people watch them if they like them they upvote and leave great comments like your one :) and the interaction Personally I dont need anymore than that :) I agree there is large difference between voicing opoinoins and commplaing. I think its great everyone is so passionate about vidme which is great I love makes this comments so interesting. but personally I think they sho...moreuld ask the vidme team about the issue and then make video after so they see what the vidme time think they might working on fix :)
      • [ – ] InternetUnwind parent reply As someone that has been making content for about 4 years and looked back at my previous work. You never stop growing, learning and changing. People learn from their experiences which is why people record, edit, upload and interact with people differently. I love this site for the same basic reason you said, the community. It makes all the difference. If the staff are too busy to respond to an individual creators question or concern they can spread word the long and tedious way by speaking to each creator they know. Or do what you did and start a conversation ;) This video started a conversation about the content and who is making it essentially. This video may kind of prove my point XD. You start a conversation that gets the community talking about an issue regarding the state of vidme. I understand where you are coming from though. And there is a limit to what needs a video to make the communtiy talk. I for instance made a video about how to identify stolen content and what shoul...mored be done as a member of the community. As a community we need to talk about things and not label them. This is a fun conversation :)
        • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply This is a Fun conversation :) the thing that I dont want is a load of negativity where there dosnt need to be over the last week it seems that the videos on top of the trending page where complaints Most of which didn't need to be there. Had they spoken to the Vidme team these would have been resolved. Most of which were from what some People call the "Drama Crew" who just make videos about Drama we dont need that here we are better than that :). Its so true true as you spend more time learning about videos you do never stop growing. its crazy how much you can learn in such a short time from posting regular. Right now I Just Wish everyone who has commented, was together in person in Pub or a bar this would make for some cool conversion over drinks hahahha. First round is on me Guys :) That is great topic for a video! that is so different from what this video is about that inst complaining at all :)
          • [ – ] Kentantino parent reply Hold your horses budy cuz im from that group and we have not made no drama you guys need to learn what is real drama and what is not.
          • InternetUnwind parent reply Haha that would be awesome, ive never met any of my tuber freinds in person. Sadly some people have been labeling the types of videos i mentioned as complaining and drama. Also wasnt the drama crew fake roasting each other? Making it a parody of actual drama right? I saw those videos and thought it was funny because they seemed to be pretty clear it was fake fueds.
  • [ – ] MrATAndreiThomas reply OK bro, the reason you the vidme users are complaining is because they were unverified and verified content creators that has a small amount of followers by the fact they didn't get enough exposure to be seen on the Trending feed, yeah vidme may have done a good job but for them to make it harder for the unverified content creators is extremely not cool that's what's causing some users to do follow for follow, to reach 50 followers for them to get verified, I for one dislike follow for follow, this is when I will help out the small content creators next week just so they can be in the spotlight.
    • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply Channel verification still isn't that hard this women did it in 4 days. https://vid.me/5nh8 Vidme verification is a stamp from vidme that says this creator makes 100% his own work and I don't think it should used lightly. The thing is it will take time on get on the trending page. Thats what I am saying you have to be patient. Personally I Dont like follow for a follow, and in the long term I dont think it will work as the people who follow your channel from this wont be interested in your work. wont upvote or comment on your videos so you wont get on the trending page. Its not all about followers . Also think people need to stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and just focus on the videos. Content is king! I think the team picks is cool idea after all its there website why cant they pick what videos they like as long as they dont pick the same people all the time.
      • [ – ] MrATAndreiThomas parent reply Thats exactly what I mean bro it's to have different users to be on the Trending page than the same user because it will be Harder for the small content creators not all of the small content creators are popular but there are some of them that has good skills that deserves to be in the spotlight.
        • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply Loving the debate on this everyone is so passionate for Vidme and I love it :) the small creators they will get the spotlight it they just have to keep working hard and putting up the good content :) The problem with a trending page is people with the most followers will find it easier to get up there as they have more of a following and as soon as up open vidme there channel is on your home screen which it should be :). Personally for team picks I would just have rule you cant be selected again for another month or two once you have been on it. stops people being on it al the time :)
          • [ – ] MrATAndreiThomas parent reply Yes Thats indeed true bro, even I noticed it as well days back the fact they have got a large following of users thats how they got to the Trending page a lot, and yes some small content creators need to work hard and dedication to on the Trend, it may be hard but that's because they need to have patience, in time they will end up getting more followers.
      • [ – ] Classified_Chappy parent reply The only reason I want to get verified quickly is because I seriously hate the bandwidth of how Vidme suggests. I tried to upload this new video I suppose to upload yesterday that was big, but my annoying internet kept on going down when it was doing that where now I already maxed it out which made me ticked off that costed my limit having to wait until next week for it to next week. I think it sucks of how Vidme wants to use the 50 follower rule which I fine with the wait and patience, but I dont like when the bandwidth is too low that I hears on youtube that sone users who does not have the 50 follower but already is verified, I really wish I get vertified too.
        • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply 100% agree I didn't Like the You can only upload so much i would great rid off that 100% so annoying
          • [ – ] Classified_Chappy parent reply Same. I actually may have to reapply again for the 3rd time if the staff of vidme doesn't say anything or declined me again where I don't like restricted limits that I force to deal with of it.
            • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply I just gave your channel look and also followed :) I would say you need to work on your videos before reapplying where your recording gameplay might worth picking up a capture card instead of filming the screen. Also where you are playing music and have images Make sure you are using copyright free music. also make sure its ok to use thous images in your video. the art work dosnt look like you own it or have the right to display it the way you are. if the large file wall is stopping you cut the video into parts. Try and start a theme to your channel which looks like an animay one. Maybe just start talking what you like from the games show or comics. but as always buddy its your channel you can do what you like. Like I always say beyourself at make sure your happy before anyone else :)
              • Classified_Chappy parent reply And as far as cutting into parts, most of the vids aren't that long that should do that at all where I use Windows live movie maker just to edit the parts and making the video good enough to showcase most of it. I've learned on youtube that an uploader mentioned one time that he hates how youtubers saying the same lines like you said get a capture card, better equipment and such, but there are other uploaders who don't follow it where most of the people see what it is about that having all those great stuff isn't really required where I put this to mind of myself that I will address. "If what you is doing right now the best way you upload for you, then by means keep doing what you're doing that as long if you're enjoying on what you can, it will work perfectly." You're a great supporter that I respect on the suggestions on what you are saying which I found it great when people doing that. Will watch your videos sometime soon. I have made an email to them just so they would get my atte...morention, and realize what they're going through where I am hopinh they accept on what I want tbh.
              • Classified_Chappy parent reply Regarding of those suggestions you give to me, a lot of people said the same thing to me that I should get a capture card which most people are used to seeing perfect quality. But, the way I think about that and responding why I can't maje that decision is because mostly capture cards are too expensive that mostly I mentioned that question on my YouTube about me section that although I don't got a capture card, I still promise to make it as good as possible for everyone to see. Regarding of the images I've make, mostly I aleays give credit for music owners whomade thier own and I tried to make a pm them who made the music, but they took too long to respond to mines as I can't wait any longer depending on the day that I must upload to my channel. Mostly I think if others made a request if it is play to use their music and mention them on their own videos and the description box, then it is truly okay to do so than not giving credit at all. As far as well known music that is popular, I d...moreidn't plan to upload some vids that have a content Id on it since I don't know if vidme does the whole copyright strike thing where I do my research on which music if it is appropriate and okay to do where if there's no music that sets the tone of the music I've made, then I bite the bullet, show credit to them, and hopefully it'll work. Though thanks for following me where I did the same to you as I followed you back. I think as far as my channel is looking like, and even my YouTube is, mostly it is anime/video game type of channel that at least the people are realizing for those who know what mine content is. As far as making special videos of what I like and others, I haven't even made one at all except one request video I think is because not much that videos are either commenting more on what they want to see next, or even make a good small milestone that is why I was thinking if I had 100 subscribers which I almost reach it there, but not many people coming to the channel, or give me noticed which is why I hadn't done those type of vids at all.
  • [ – ] A4EProject reply I think you nailed it when said that people are expecting success too quickly. Rapid success is rare and can result in rapid burnout.
  • [ – ] JustABloke reply Actually what a great idea, my desk has so much junk on it and it is surprising how easy it is to add more junk on top of junk. Time to clean my office LoL, I'm scared I'm going to find a 1.2k baud modem here somewhere. One thing I'm happy to say, create content for yourself, something you are happy to watch over and over again. This works great for me, moments worth remembering. Cool video, not too heavy PSST sorry @Kirsty_J tried hard to resist but your brother is really good at this vlogging thing, time to follow 🤔
    • [ – ] Kirsty_J parent reply Haha that ok, @stefanJenkins learnt all his vlogging skills from me haha 😂
    • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply Its such a good idea its so nice always having space on it now also, now I have a place for my keys and wallet I dont lose them as much ahhahahah. where do think @Kirsty_J learnt to Vlog from hahaha Her Big Bro :)
      • [ – ] JustABloke parent reply You both are good at this, and yeah I heard shes out in the boonies somewhere so she would probably wouldn't realise until it's too late that I will now have to remain neutral on the family feud fence. LoL All good, I'm going to miss that fence.
        • StefanJenkins parent reply haha she is out in the Boonies she wont even know whats going till she get back. that gives me a couple of mounts to prove i am a better vlogger :)
  • [ – ] Iannis_Hour reply I am acctualy a pretty lazy person
  • [ – ] KoriconNala reply I know how you feel when you get your work area looking good and organized. I'm the same way when I setup my new filming set area lol. Thank you for this, you gave me some ideas that I'm going to implement on my own channel so that my Vidme community can get some extra content that is Vidme Specific
  • [ – ] Westley_Nash reply I have a desk covered in random stuff, it just seems to gravitate there 😁 My Sunday was spent sleeping (for once) I honestly think that if these people keep complaining about VidMe & saying it's going to fail, they may in fact risk being the very reason that it will, because when you keep talking something down people will start believing it & in turn, avoid joining the channel which limits its growth. I live by the belief that criticism should be constructive & intended to highlight problems with the intent on improving something, not to destroy it. Complaining is the complete opposite of that process. It's pointing out the negatives just simply to have a gripe & a moan while offering nothing constructive. I have to agree with you on the creativity thing. They often say "Those who can't create, criticise" & it's often true. Like you say, if YouTube was offering so much better for them then why don't they go there instead of staying on VidMe & complaining. Such a scenario (if true) ...moreis like standing in the shade on a bright sunny day & complaining you aren't getting a tan! The simple rule of life (unless you are extremely fortunate & lucky) is that we have to work for it. We have to look at what we can offer people & how we can spread our content to a much wider audience, rather than simply having a go at VidMe & its users for not giving them what they want. I share my videos on VidMe, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ & all the others in between. I may still not get instantly massive levels of views but what I am getting (one by one) is more genuine fans who like my content. We just have to build our channel & avoid holding out for instant success. Patience & persistence for the win.
    • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply What a great comment I agree so much with what you say and this is what this video was about. Stop the complain without constructive feedback as it will start to bring negative affects to the channel. That sounds like a great comment. I love when you get a fan that interacts with your videos is great whatever platform you do it on :). Thats what I found with my desk and then it so messy and so much harder to work on. give my desk challenge a go where you cant put anything on apart from things your using.
      • [ – ] Westley_Nash parent reply Not a problem my friend 👍 I'm a process engineer by trade, so it's my job to solve problems at my work place & we had a golden rule: "If you are ready to highlight a problem then you had also better be ready to offer a solution" The lazy part comes in the willingness to point out something wrong but then sit back & place the responsibility for putting it right onto others. If we want something to succeed for all our benefit then we all have to take responsibility to improve it.
  • [ – ] SurfersSelfies reply Sweet as vlog bro :) i love the fallout sticker.
  • [ – ] AmandaFood reply Ahahahaha how I feel right now scene and BTTF scenes (I saw it) your videos are getting so much better (no that came out wrong :/ it was always good you know what I mean) yes blame on yourself is what I do as well. (Yay 200!!!!)
  • [ – ] IdealiDeviceOfAnInformedUnion reply People that complain about "x" platforms are critically aware but not critically proactive. They may have valid complaints but their validity is hampered by there inaction or their lack of engagement in the community. Creative people that are complainers are people you usually never notice because they are proactive enough to make sure you notice their results and not their complaints.
  • [ – ] Kirsty_J reply Plus with all the footage I've filmed atm there be an explosion of out in the boonie videos 😂😂 in September 😂
  • [ – ] GoMGTOW reply It's Father's day.
  • [ – ] dalestark05 reply great vlog I am enjoying it here vidme is a great place and way a go on 200 following
  • [ – ] MrJoelDee reply It is definitely harder to get noticed on YT. You are completely right, for those that are into numbers, generally, 1-2 videos is not going to produce the results you're expecting. It absolutely takes time, longer for some, shorter for some, but time nonetheless.
    • StefanJenkins parent reply 100% also I think if everyone keeps working on there videos they will catch up or even over take the people who gets out early with lots of followers.
  • [ – ] QuickTimeEvent reply Well I followed so you probably have 200 now, I'm close to but I do gaming so it's harder to gain an audience tbh
  • [ – ] lambdog76 reply Speaking of that amazing workout, I am having trouble finding a muscle that isn't sore this morning. Todays plans involve some housekeeping for us as well. My family will be cooking for me for father's day. I have been watching cinematography and filmaking videos on YouTube, and have been inspired to set my camera manually, so I may run some test footage, mainly running a deliberate shutter speed, f-stop, and ISO, maybe not to publish yet, at least not to Vidme, I have an ongoing series on YouTube that I have been neglecting for a few weeks. If curious here is a link to the vid that made me want to try Manual settings (ps he glosses over white balance, but it is pretty important as well for when shooting indoors) https://youtu.be/YA-2hXF1YPc
    • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply Thanks for sharing that, I really like how he explains everything and lays it all out. and haha thats the problem with a new type of work out you can be in so much pain. :) I have started to watch things Like that I want to add a few more video affects so I dont keep using the same affects :)
      • [ – ] lambdog76 parent reply He did a light wash effect using a cell phone light in the slap box video into a fade to white that is sick as hell.
        • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply Nice do you know how to they do that effect where it looks like video is cutting out I think that is so cool .
          • [ – ] lambdog76 parent reply can you link an example?
            • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply Like at the start of your link where its like the signal is poor on the TV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YA-2hXF1YPc&feature=youtu.be
              • [ – ] lambdog76 parent reply That would be an internal effect of the editing software, but to get it like that, you would overlap tv effect on top of tv effect (produce the project then reincert it into the final) with layered distortion on the audio.
