  • [ โ€“ ] whako reply Nice to see an awesome video encouraging others to volunteer! I volunteer at a mission to help feed the homeless north in my area and it just makes my day. I love to see others less fortunate being helped and supported, it makes everything about it feel amazing.
  • [ โ€“ ] GamerRaf reply I used to volunteer a lot when I was I Boy Scout. I haven't done it in a while but I always have to go around picking up trash every time I go to the beach lol.
    • redRomina parent reply Oo that's neat! I was never a Girl Scout or anything like that. The beaches are always so dirty :(
  • [ โ€“ ] duffy reply :)
  • [ โ€“ ] Aiya reply i did a lot of volunteering but never Abroad volunteering. Volunteering with wild animals?? That's someone I would love to do. Cheetahs are sooo cool!
    • redRomina parent reply You should do it!! I learned so much about cheetahs. They're beautiful, fragile and amazing animals!
  • [ โ€“ ] jrswab reply Dude, cheetahs.... woh... Also skinning a horse sounds gross and smelly.
    • redRomina parent reply I have no sense of smell so I wouldn't know. It wasn't really that gross. I knew I was doing it for the pups. Cheetahs ๐Ÿ˜
  • [ โ€“ ] Zimbo_Gamer reply I first heard about this "volunteering" about 7 years ago. Honestly its got to be one of the best business ideas out there! Dude you're getting free labour from tourists that dont know any better. Oh wait, on top of that Mr. Tourist pays you. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚ I really hate it when foreigners interfere with matters they don't understand. Although u made a good point about understanding cultures. To be an immigrant is honestly the worst thing, people dont understand you culture or your country. It helps you understand just how fickle people really are. But hey, nice vid.
    • redRomina parent reply My video is about volunteering in general. As in... volunteering anywhere... at a local shelter, at a school, across the country, abroad, etc. You do not need to pay to volunteer. I never said anything about that. Your comment seems pretty bitter. Sorry if you had a bad experience at some point!
  • [ โ€“ ] AnywhereBushcraft reply Volunteering gives you nothing, in my opinion only an idiot works for free.
  • [ โ€“ ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply It's great that you got to experience so many positive things as a volunteer! I've always been a little too shy to put myself into such social situations. I've donated items and money to charities, but you are talking about a more personal experience. I see myself one day helping people more directly. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us!
    • redRomina parent reply I understand! Any little bit helps. But there are plenty of volunteer opportunities that are a little bit simpler and maybe won't be too much trouble for you. Like helping at a local shelter etc. (:
  • [ โ€“ ] StolenMoments reply Sorry, I just dont want bad things to happen. You are very valuable. I knew several people [men&women] that went abroad and didnt come home. Yes, Most are safe, usually.
    • redRomina parent reply The video is about volunteering in general. It's very ignorant to say that going outside of the US you will get rape and murdered when people get raped and murdered in the US every single day.
  • [ โ€“ ] StolenMoments reply Outside the U.S. is it not likely to be raped/murdered?
    • redRomina parent reply If that was supposed to be funny I missed the joke. Please don't make ignorant jokes on my channel that is about TRAVEL. ๐Ÿ™„
