  • [ – ] danielamann reply Yes!!! You tried it and discovered how amazing it really is! Honey is a great addition to spaghetti and I am not as crazy as you think! I've never gone back since the first time I had it! I love it! Thanks for showing the world how good it really is =D I have video evidence now along it @MarzieMalfoy having tried it as well! You see @hailstorm it is good, you just have to have given it a chance! =D
    • [ – ] theoldsparrow parent reply Thank you for giving me a new adventure in food. I'll have to try with it cooked into the sauce at a later time but it does look like I'm adding this to my usual spaghetti recipe.
  • [ – ] BrianAiya reply I just want to say that your content has really improves since the beginning. Even last week you used pictures to show the recipe, but now you made a video, with voiceover, and music ;P You also listened to my comment and ate in front of the camera and gave your opinions :) My mouth is watering now. Im hungry now! @danielamann thanks for sharing your secret recipe to the world ;)
  • [ – ] MarzieMalfoy reply It is so good!!! I tried it the other night! Thanks for sharing how you cook your spaghetti. It's really my favorite food and there so many variations of how to cook it. I actually cook my sauce so slow, it takes 8 hours to cook it. lol
    • theoldsparrow parent reply It really is. Daniel may make a spaghetti revolution out of this. With sauce you really can infuse the flavors over time just keep adding more liquids like wine or water and keep letting it reduce. It took about an hour for me to make this sauce and I think that's a pretty decent amount of time so you don't get too hungry while cooking it. :D
  • [ – ] Bobtoronto reply That looks like delicious spaghetti sauce, and I love Daniel Amann...but...I'm not ever putting any honey on my spaghetti! You are all just crazy :P
    • [ – ] theoldsparrow parent reply I was skeptical at first, too. I expected a clash of savory and over sweetness, but it really does compliment the flavor nicely. I highly recommend it.
      • [ – ] Bobtoronto parent reply You reminded me that I haven't done spaghetti for a while. I miss it. Maybe I'll do up a batch, get out the honey, and try it. I don't want to be accused of 'contempt prior to investigation'. It might even make a nice video. In fact, it could turn into a whole vidme 'tag' thing. Who do we 'tag' next to try spaghetti and honey...
        • theoldsparrow parent reply If you do a video I think it's important to show how you cook spaghetti because everyone does it differently. If you're going to tag someone with the honey special ingredient please tag @danielamann because it is his particular good taste that invited everyone to try it. Please message me the results and I will support it to the utmost of my ability. I hope you like it as well because honestly it is pretty good.
  • [ – ] KayToons reply I've heard this is delicious from a lot of people. I really need to try it!
  • [ – ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply That was an amazing video! You did a really nice cooking presentation. I didn't expect you to also eat the whole thing on camera! I did cringe a little with the food sitting in your lap. If I'd done that I would have been wearing half of it by the end. My wife and I bought nice fabric bibs to keep ourselves from destroying our clothes because of our clumsiness. This is what we have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014TFU7ZY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'll definitely try the honey in the spaghetti. I eat honey on my pancakes instead of maple syrup, so I like the taste. Maybe Daniel is a genius! Thanks for taking the honey challenge!
    • [ – ] theoldsparrow parent reply Thank you so much. I think part of it comes from having a beard for so long. You learn to eat with as little chance of food getting away from your mouth. After watching my own video I noticed that I spend most of my time hovering my face in a downward angle over my plate. I would like to say with great respect thank you for all of your responses. I see you around on a lot of videos I watch and you really make a difference with your thoughtful replies. Thank you for being a positive light on this community.
  • [ – ] MrJoelDee reply That looks really good. I'll have to try some honey on spaghetti sometime. First time ever hearing of that.
  • [ – ] SamEarl13 reply My mind is blown how much this improved over the last video, I was completely pulled in by the cooking tutorial and you can bet I'll be trying this at some point in the future.
  • [ – ] VidmeFunDiy reply they seem to be spaghetti al ragù
  • Roamancing reply Was wondering what the twist was going to be. I would not have expected that. As a huge honey lover, I am going to have to give that a go.
  • BentoMomma reply Mmmm! I was thinking about making pasta for dinner tonight! Thanks for this recipe! What's your favourite type of pasta?
  • [ – ] countrymusing reply Good job on the video! I enjoy making food so I'm really liking these recipe vids. I will have to try out the honey that sounds pretty interesting.
  • [ – ] WalkingForWeightLoss reply I can imagine honey being a match for spaghetti. None for me until I lose some more weigh though.
  • [ – ] WeirdestNews reply Dude, you are getting way better at this. Honestly, this video is waaaayyyyy better than the banana bread one. Awesome job!!!
  • [ – ] RetroSegaWondershow reply That looks delicious. And I certainly wouldn't have thought about adding honey to it. It's not the sort of combination I would have normally thought of. It's an interesting idea.
    • theoldsparrow parent reply Totally not my idea. All credit goes to @danielamann. His idea sparked the floor for a proper way to cook spaghetti with an original infusion of a totally unique flavor. If you do try it let me know how it turns out for you.
  • opaxel1967 reply Oh , another thing , sorry , if you use a fork and spoon to eat , so much better !!!
  • opaxel1967 reply Now then , as an ex chef ( 15 years head-chef , 3 star Hotel ) , my hair ( whats left of it ) stood up just watching you cutting the onions and peppers ... oh boy , you still got fingers left , so ok ... then , no oil in the water for the Spaghetti ?? ah well, I was taught by the Italians how to handle noodles of any kind ... still , you managed it after all , so well done on the meal and the video ... however there is nooooooo way ever that I would put Honey on the meat !!!
  • [ – ] Calibri_Funtimes reply I love that you're taking a step outside your typical comfort zone! This looks great! YUM!
    • theoldsparrow parent reply Thank you. I'm trying a few things differently while I'm watching anime that doesn't fit my normal analysis. Sometime soon I plan on showing off the garden.
  • [ – ] AmandaFood reply I loved this, it looks so good! I'm going to try this out <3
    • [ – ] theoldsparrow parent reply Try the honey thing out too. It adds a different dimension to the flavor. Also thank you for being an inspiration with your videos.
      • AmandaFood parent reply <3 Wow that means a lot coming from you. You have inspired me to come out of my shell (a little at a time) with your videos :) i will for sure thry it with the honey.
