It feels great to be back on a Final Fantasy VII jam once again! This soundtrack has so many beautiful compositions that I can't resist learning how to play and putting my own spin on it. I've been wanting to do Mako Reactor for a while but I've been purposely waiting until I feel like my audio production has gotten too a point where I can do this track the most justice. This particular theme isn't necessarily about the guitar skill involved but mainly how rad and metal as heck it can sound (which hugely relies on production capabilities). I spent a ton of time trying to get everything as huge as I could and I'm super happy with how this cover turned out. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! ➤ The original "Mako Reactor" theme from the game "Final Fantasy VII" was composed by Nobuo Uematsu ➤ Thank you to ballerscuba for the game footage! Check out his playthrough of FF7! ➤ Gear used in this cover: - ESP Guitars - Hughes and Kettner amplifiers - Fishman Fluence Pickups - EMG Pickups - Dunlop Jazz III Tortex picks - Monster Cables - Ernie Ball Strings - BIAS Desktop Amp Simulator Plugin - Toontrack Superior Drummer 2.0
