  • [ – ] jrswab reply hey nice to meet you! I plan on doing something like this as well for the vidme community.
  • [ – ] JustABloke reply What is it about Vidizens, I must be the only 1 that doesn't like Horror's. Lily stop it! I'm so happy running is a passion of yours. Oh now I got to go tip your sister for getting you into vloggin' LoL, you may be a blogger but now you're a famous vlogger !!!! Thank you for sharing a part of your life, loved it.
    • therunningrebel parent reply lol I don't know man, personally I've just always been into that kind of stuff. My husband doesn't like horror either, but I'm going to make him take me to see the It remake in September haha! Me too! At this point I don't even know what I would do if I wasn't a runner! I'm not even sure why she was barking...lol maybe she was just trying to get my attention. Haha I'm far from famous, but yup, it's definitely her fault that I'm vlogging now. ;)
  • [ – ] the_arcane reply Southern Illinois! Surprisingly beautiful. I lived in Quincy for awhile. Not quite Southern Illinois but close. I've been thinking about doing a VLOG but I'm kind of like you maybe in that I really don't have any experience with it ... and... I have to ask myself why I want to do it. Good job here. I appreciate the courage it takes to put yourself out there.
    • therunningrebel parent reply I think most of the Midwest is really beautiful! A lot of people complain about it being boring and full of corn, but there's a lot more to it!! Yeah, I know what you mean! I feel like my written blog has really helped me, just in regard to talking about myself, but trying to talk for people I don't really know definitely feels a bit strange! Maybe I'll get used to it lol. And maybe you should at least give it a shot! Even if you don't end up posting the video anywhere (I can't tell you how many times I've recorded something then deleted it lol), but maybe you'll end up enjoying it! Thank you so much!! :) :) :)
  • [ – ] Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply I used to read only non-fiction books when I was in my late teens, especially psychology and spirituality themed books. I desired to know how my mind worked. Then one day I was really wanting something different, feeling a little edgy and all that. So I rode my ten-speed down to the local bookstore and chose a book that was as different from my sense of normal as possible. I'm a big fraidy cat. I don't watch horror films usually. Too many nightmares. Poltergeist had me checking my closet, if you know what I mean. So choosing a Steven King book was like a challenge to myself, a dare. I got "The Shining". So, long story done, I was hooked. The book "It" became my favorite. I just loved the camaraderie between the kids. King has a way of sucking you in. Dude's got a talent. Anyway, I like your spontaneity! It make your vlog work. Even though you used notes, you just improvised in parts. You're doing great! Thanks for sharing your life with us here on Vidme!
    • therunningrebel parent reply It is a fantastic book! I totally agree, the camaraderie between the group of kids is amazing! I had a group of really close friends in grade school, so I could totally relate to their relationships with each other (minus the fighting of a killer space clown thing obviously lol). That's one think I really love about Stephen King. I think he captures human nature and they way we interact with each other and the world around us beautifully! Plus he spends so much time building up your relationship with the characters in his books that you can't help but like or at least sympathize with most of them. And then if/when something bad happens to them, that just makes it even worse! Haha it's actually quite amazing, I think. I agree, Mr. King is one talented man. Thank you so much! Haha not gonna lie, I worry that my random shenanigans will put people off, but I'm glad to know it kinda works! Thanks again!! :) of
  • the_arcane reply You're probably right about just giving it a shot.and you're welcome. Keep it up
