  • [ – ] MFKraven reply I know people who have used Youtube as sort of their escape when they didnt have anything else. It's admirable that you wear your heart on your sleeve. I'm so happy I found your channel because you're just so relatable to me. You've got a friend in me if you ever wanna talk or vent to! :)
    • Calibri_Funtimes parent reply Heart on my sleeve? I don't know how to be anything else! I hope I can be a familiar face, a friend to anyone who needs it! See you, around, friend!!!
  • [ – ] Y2JayDoesAsia reply Actually you DON'T NEED thier permission to use thier clips under United States copyright law, the applicable section is 17 U.S. Code § 107 - Limitations on exclusive rights: Fair use, https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/17/107 Pretty much every youtuber knows this because they often have to refer to fair use when either dealing with companies or other youtubers. To break it down simply put, fair use means you CAN use clips (not the entirety of the work) for purposes of teaching, commentary, critisism, satire WITHOUT a person's permissions, especially if the video is non profit. You don't need thier permission, have at them.
    • Calibri_Funtimes parent reply True, I am aware of Fair Use; ironically I was less concerned about violating the rule, and more keen to avoid violating the original creator's preferences on which clips to use and such. But Jay you're SUPER helpful! Seriously! Every which way I turn you're like BAM! I'm helping!! Thank you!!! :-)

  • [ – ] Dreyson reply And this is why we all do it as content creators and viewers. It's a circle keeps everyone happy. Good job on the channel. It's having a bunch of success
    • [ – ] Calibri_Funtimes parent reply Thank you! I appreciate your 'circle of life' outlook. But as creators we have a certain responsibility to support other creators. Because we, as creators, THRIVE on feedback.
  • [ – ] theoldsparrow reply I love finding a channel I haven't seen before and trying to make someone happy. Whether that be through a comment, a simple upvote, or a tip. It makes me happy to see other people happy. Usually I'll be looking for new creators in my interests so it's a lot of anime reviews but other categories are pretty fun to branch out into. I really enjoy watching the people I follow as well and it gives me that feeling you described when someone I enjoy posts something new. It's like a birthday present everyday.
    • Calibri_Funtimes parent reply I love that: "it's like a birthday present everyday". It's so accurate! It's a perfect description of what that feels like when I see my favorite channels post something new.
  • [ – ] BrianAiya reply yes, 1 comment can make someone smile and feel appreciated :) Glad to see that you are doing a lot for this community too.
    • Calibri_Funtimes parent reply I was so down on Wednesday. Seriously, seeing upvotes and comments and whatevers trickle in on notifications brought be right back up. Thanks for stopping by!!
  • [ – ] KinTailFox reply That is probably the most solid advice anyone has ever shared. Just go and find someone random, watch and really get into whatever you're watching and leave a nice comment. Don't just open a video, write a vague comment and move on but really invest. It should be good Karma too.
    • Calibri_Funtimes parent reply Thank you, the comments and activity I receive on my channel seriously just makes me so happy. I hope we can continue the chain of happiness! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!!
  • userXVI reply I am part Artificial Inteligence, Truth.
