  • SometimesBytes reply I don't think big YouTubers will hurt the community no where near as much as the ads will. The whole reason small YouTubers are buried is because they can't make money off of them. Ad's can work on vidme but only if they do something completely different then the YouTube system.
  • [ – ] Naturenerd1000 reply Actually I've noticed the big youtubers that have come over here aren't really that successful. We actually have a big advantage. It's not as big of an issue as you think.
  • [ – ] DanielHuntington reply Well, I'm not sure I really agree here. Not trying to hate here. I heard of Vid.Me thanks to I Hate Everything and Computing Forever. You kinda need exposure about the site from other people, big or small, to help spread awareness even if not everybody will gravitate towards the site. And while the whole 'smaller creators will be obscured due to bigger Youtubers coming here' would most likely be true and kinda sucks, that's inevitable. Being a video creator is in a very competitive environment. Some people are just naturally picky on what content creators they like and don't like. It's perfectly natural, so long as you're aren't being a douche leaving useless hate comments and all that. And really, how do we even focus on every single hard-working creator at once in trying to get everybody the same amount of attention? I'm not sure that's really a possible feat to achieve. Especially since there are factors like focusing on your work, maybe outside things in your life keeping you bus...morey, etc. But hey, that's just my opinion. Sorry if this was a bit long.
    • RetroBit parent reply I came here to say relatively the same thing. The site is more creators than it is viewers or so it seems this way most of the time. While the sites actual viewership is increasing overtime having a flux of large YouTubers coming onto the site could really help bolster the viewership that anyone who hits the front page will experience. The reason they won't come here exclusively is because people are inherently resistant to change and someone with 1m subs might lose a huge chunk of their following if they jump ship as most folks who frequent YT will just move on to another creator. I love the creator first mentality & friendly community but much like anything that starts to grow exponentially we're going to experience a large flux of viewers and with that eventually the comment shit posters YouTube is known for. haha.
    • [ – ] cruzando parent reply No its perfectly fine man :) and I get where you're coming from I'm just kinda scared as vidme gets bigger that the base of creators and community friendly aurora will go away ya know?
    • GoMGTOW parent reply It's divided because that's the way these platforms are constructed... If Vidme or YT gave a fuck about individual community's their would have been a MGTOW listing in the category's long ago for these community's to congregate and have a home.... Because the last thing these platforms want you to know about is the Red Pill.... Instead they would rather you watch the Tide Pod Challenge on their trending page! <-Shit you not, that happened.
  • CrazyJoeWurst37 reply I a small youtuber
  • Flying_Purple_Pizzas reply You do have a point. But the thing that is great about Vidme is the interaction between the content creators and their viewers. Big YT creators don't do that. They can't because of the number of subscribers. I'm not here just to watch videos. I'm here to watch and interact. If I want to just watch videos then I can go to YT. I don't want to comment on videos that no one will ever read or care about.
  • GoMGTOW reply When it comes to YT channels like Keemstar and others... If they don't have the Go MGTOW seal of approval, as far as I am concerned they are not part of the Red Pill, MGTOW, alternative and conservative media community on Vidme.... Not one of those YT-fuckers you just mentioned ever came to the aid of the MGTOW community when we needed them the most! All they are interested in is their own stupid Blue Pill drama and making $$$$$! That's IT! Trust me, I'm ready for You Tube to go dark, and more than ready to hand these YT-fuckers their ass with a side of BBQ sauce.... Y'all! I advise that you do not waiver, and that you all stand together as artists and creators... and keep VIDME AD FREE!
