Welcome to the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire!
For this session, I decided to dedicate my time to trying out the Splattershot and see what's changed with it and to see how devastating the Tenta Missiles are.
The Splattershot, by all intents and purposes, is the same as the one in Splatoon 1 except the special ability. Same range, rate of fire, and sub weapon. Honestly, this is fine. It works very well for what it is and is the all-around weapon that can fit into any situation fairly well.
The Tenta Missiles, while easily avoided, can be used to funnel people to certain spots for teammates to ambush or cut off enemy movement from key points on the map. Remember to activate it from a safe spot, because you're a sitting duck when you use it. A good tactic is to Super Jump back to spawn to have a better chance to target more than one person.
The Sub-Weapon for the Spalttershot is the Burst Bomb; it works exactly like it's counterpart in the first game.
