Dashcam from the top of Georgia Pass
August 8 2017
This is dashcam video from the very top of Georgia Pass. No real offroading challenges at the top or on the east side so this was an easy drive. I've been up here a few times now including years ago to hike up Mt Guyot the obvious large mountain in the near distance. This is the first offroading vid that I've uploaded but not the last. I have much better videos in the stash that need to go online. Alltrails.com had this to say: Georgia Pass 4x4 Road is a 19.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Jefferson, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail. DISTANCE 19.8 miles ELEVATION GAIN 2270 feet ROUTE TYPE Point to Point Backcountry shortcut from Jefferson to Breckenridge An interesting backcountry shortcut from town of Jefferson on Highway 285 to Breckenridge. The climb to the pass on the south side is an easy graded road.
