«Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski (born May 22, 1942), also known as the "Unabomber", is an American anarchist and domestic terrorist. A mathematical prodigy, he abandoned a promising academic career in 1969, then between 1978 and 1995 killed three people, and injured 23 others, in a nationwide bombing campaign targeting people involved with modern technology. In conjunction with this campaign he issued a wide-ranging social critique opposing industrialization and modern technology, and advancing a nature-centered form of anarchism.»
Despite the known actions of Theodore Kaczynski, he does not advocate violence in his work 'Industrial Society and Its Future'. The ideas discussed in the book, and in particular the ones excerpted in the video, are valid as a starting point for debate, as they describe a problem that is far too evident in today's society, much more so than when the words were originally written.
It should go without saying, but it is worth saying it nonetheless: We do not endorse violence or terrorism, and therefore we do not condone the terrorist methods used by the author.
